I quickly got in my car and, trying not to go over the speed limit, rushed to the hospital. I immediately went to Y/n's room and thankfully saw her laying there just as she was the day before, and for the last week. The machine around her beeped signaling that she was alive. I let out a sigh of relief and sat down next to her. I pulled out my next tape to record. I held the microphones to my mouth.

"Hey Y/n. It's me again...."

Time Jump-
The Same Day Corbyn Went Missing
Y/n POV:

"Hey Y/n. It's me again. Day two of recoding tapes for you. There's something weird going on. I don't want you to worry when you hear this, and by the time you wake up, I'll have it all under control. So never mind actually. It doesn't even matter..."

I heard Corbyn take a deep breath through the recorder.

"Anyways, the album release is getting closer by the day. I'm really excited..."

In the background I heard faint noises. "Sir, visiting hours are over."

Corbyn replied, "ugh, fine. Gotta run Y/n, love you so much. Until next time..."

And with that the tape recorder turned off.

I sighed and reached for tape number 3. I put it in the MP3 player and hit play. No sound. Maybe I put it in wrong? I flipped it and tried again. Still nothing. I kept trying. Maybe there was something wrong with the player.

It's when I realized that the tape was empty. So was tapes 4-10 and then I kept trying tapes. Numbers 11-20 were also empty. They were all empty.

Corbyn only recorded two tapes. What happened to the rest? What happened to Corbyn?
