Isabella
"I see you got my note." Edward walks out fork behind one of the columns.
I turn, adjusting my pale pink silk wrap, "I did."
"And?"
I smile, "And what?"
"Will you come with me?"
"I don't know."
"Yet you met me in our spot."
"So I did."
He takes a step closer to me, taking my hands in his own. There's a glint in his eye, a curve to the corner of his lips. The kisses he presses to the back of my hands are chaste before he drops them to cup my face, angling his mouth over mine.

He pulls away before I can deepen our kiss, eyes holding mine.
"Come away with me, Isabella, it's only for a few days."
"We're not married, it's scandalous."
"I'm the king, darling, no one could dare say a thing. Besides, it's for diplomatic purposes, my godfather should meet my queen."
"Well when you put it that way... but my father."
"Leave him to me."
He presses a kiss right beneath my ear, lightly tracing the line of my jaw with his nose, his hot breath fanning across my neck.
