As the seven pile back on the jet, Natasha goes off with Banner, Clint's knocked out, Tony's flying the jet, Thor's examining the staff, and Steve is staring at a worried looking Kyra who's been spacing out for over an hour.
"What's with that look?" Steve mutters as he sits next to her
"What look?" Kyra questions as she looks in his direction
he smiles for a second "That one, you look worried or like you know something we don't"
"If I tell you what I know, this stays between us" Kyra states quietly
"You can trust me Kyra" Steve states as he walks closer to her
"I think things are a little too chaotic at the moment to get into this" Kyra mutters while standing up and walking over to Tony
"Things still iffy with Captain Popsicle" Tony whispers
Kyra sighs "Yeah a little"
"It's clear he has a thing for you Biscuit" Tony smiles, a few weeks ago Kyra threw a biscuit at Tony during dinner and since then he's been calling her Biscuit, the others don't even question it they just go along with Tony's nicknaming as usual.
"Yes and I like him but there's Pietro" Kyra mutters while looking out and seeing the Tower
"Welcome home" Tony states as the jet lands
"Lab's all set up, boss" Maria Hill says as the door opens
Tony points to Steve "Uh, actually, he's the boss. I just pay for everything, and design everything and make everyone look cooler."
"Toot your own horn why don't ya Stark" Kyra laughs
"What's the word for Strucker?" Steve questions as he walks out of the jet with Hill and Kyra
"NATO's got him." Hill explains
"And the two enhanced?" Kyra questions as she starts to feel quite guilty because she know exactly who they are
"Wanda and Pietro Maximoff. Twins. Orphaned at ten when a shell collapsed their apartment building. Sokovia's had a rough history. It's nowhere special but it's on the way to everywhere special." Hill explains and glances at Kyra
"Their abilities?" Steve asks
"He's got increased metabolism and improved thermal homeostasis. Her thing is neural electric interfacing, telekinesis, mental manipulation." Hill explains as Steve gives her a confused look, and she rephrases the statement so he can understand
"He's fast and she's weird."
"Well, they're going to show up again" Kyra states
"Agreed. File says they volunteered for Strucker's experiments. It's nuts." Hill states as she flips through a file
"Right. What kind of monster would let a German scientist experiment on them to protect their country?" Steve states
"We're not at war, Captain." Hill smiles
"They are" Steve says as he and Kyra step into the Elevator
During the ride to the floor where they are meeting the others neither say anything, till the elevator suddenly stops. Kyra looks to her left to see that Steve pulled the Emergency stop lever
"Did you know" Steve says, he avoids eye contact with her
"I saw him when we were there" Kyra states
"Did you know he was enhanced?" Steve asks as he looks at her
"Yes" Kyra states and a sudden amount of annoyance goes over his face
"Fuck Kyra" Steve breathes as he turns to face the wall and looks back at the floor
"Steve" Kyra pleads as she steps in front of him and puts her hands on his head making him look at her
"Is that why you looked so nervous? You knew and you didn't say or do anything Kyra what the fuck" Steve shouts, not moving out of her grasp
"I'm sorry I just didn't know what to do, we were busy Steve I just...couldn't" Kyra explains
Steve doesn't say anything he just looks at her, the look on his face is a mix between how betrayed he feels and how much he wants to close the space between them he doesn't, he just stares at her, he looks between her lips and her eyes, she says "Oh, fuck it" before crashing her lips into his, they kiss for a second but he pulls back and looks at her then letting his desires take the wheel as he pulls her in again, this time the two start to get more passionate, moving at the same rhythm as Steve lightly pushes her against the wall her arm hits the restart button on the elevator and before they know it the door dings but as the two are preoccupied they don't hear it ding...Till the door opens and Natasha sees the two face fucking before she says
