At the handmade dam

Richie POV

I walked down the little hill down to the dam. Bill, Stan, mike, and Eddie were already there.

Eddie and mike were talking while Stan and bill just sat there. I sat next to Stan. Bill looked at me and I rolled my eyes.

"I feel like I haven't been down her in ages." I said trying not to sit in silence. I have mature a little throughout the years but I still can't sit still.

"I-I meant we have really b-been down h-here ever since w-we were twelve and t-thirteen." Bill said

"Yeah that was about 3 years ago" Stan said looking at me.

"Yeah so ages I was right." I said making a face (like this emoji 😌 I didn't know how to explain it lmao)

"S-smartass." Bill said jokingly.

Ben and Bev walking down the hill towards us.
"Sorry we're late."

Ben and Bev have been dating ever since they turned 14. I'm for sure, their in love.

"All good." Mike said breaking conversations with Eddie.

"So what are we gonna do down here?" Bev ask.

"I don't know" Eddie said.

Me and Stan made our own conversation about random things. Trying not to make anything obvious of what happened the other day.

"So when you wanna come over again" I asked Stan while the others were talking about other things.

"Tonight would work? " Stan said.

"Yeah that'll work."

"If you uhh don't mind. I hate inviting my self over and stuff. But umm my dads been such a bitch lately... so could I uhh.. sleep over. sorry" Stan ask in such a awkward way.

"Yeah of course. I don't think my mom will be there cause she's working a over night tonight. Also Don't be sorry." I said putting my hand on his leg. "Are you okay?" I slowly asked looking at the others making sure they didn't see.

"Yeah I just hate inviting myself over and yea I guess that's all." Stan said.

"Oh nah it's fine, invite yourself over as much as you like. I would like surprise visit from you." I said winking. Adding a small smirk. Leaning my back against the rock he was sitting on. Stan then blushed.

"What's going on over here?" Ben asked adding us to the group conversation.

"Oh uhh nothing." I said a little startled.

"Ok? well we were thinking of building the dam bigger again like how we did when we were younger." Ben said.

"Bringing back the good memories... we should definitely do that." I said with a smile.

"Yeah I agree with that."
