"Easy." I said," cops don't get the call till 5 minutes into your mission, therefore they send out the information they have gathered to the cops in the city which takes about 3 to 4 minutes."

We kept walking to the other end of the building.

"Once the cops on the streets are informed then the ones that are for the law turn on their lights and go for the location. Those that are being bribed stay where they're at an that adds more time cause they need to send more out to investigate the situation." I explained," always adding up to an hour or within 50 minutes for them to arrive, on the dot."

"Thats so clever!" Rue giggled

"Yep! Its always why I'm never seen around cops or caught on the scene of the crime." I said," cause of their predictable system."

"Whoa!" She said," you are just so cool."

"Says you, you're the one with the badass abilities!" I said

Her grin widened as some blood dripped from her mouth.

"Aww, boss." She said flattered

I chuckled a bit an then took out the last letter we needed to complete.

"Whats this one say- is it more delicious meat~!" Rue asked excited

I read the letter an then my eyes widened.

"Its asking me to kill a girl with spider abilities and eats the flesh of humans." I said," thats you."

Her eyes widened an she started backing away. I smiled at her an scoffed. I tore the letter.

"Like if I listen to every letter thats sent to me." I said

I tossed it down an put my hand out to her.

"C'mon, since we'll be together till you're bored I might as well let you live with me." I said

She looked skeptical now as her eyes started looking everywhere. I huffed a bit an put my hand down.

"I see, you've been doubled crossed a lot, huh?" I asked," well if it makes ya feel better, this is my first time working together with someone on a mission. So really, I've never doubled crossed someone in my life and I don't plan to."

I then looked around an saw the cops just two blocks away.

"Wanna watch them storm the building-"

My arm was grabbed an I saw rue hook her arm around mine.

"Hell no, I don't wanna be the reason you get seen near cops!" She smirked

I smirked too as we left an jumped off the building. She shot a web as she held onto me an swung through the alleyways.

She howled with excitement and I did too as we swung up into the sky an for a second we were floating.

I had the building catch us as she was laughing an so was I.

"Alright, I'll take you to my place now." I said as I calmed down," but I have some guests over, do you mind a gang being around for a little while? I also have a little girl that I'm protecting."

She looked at me as she calmed down an grinned.

"A girl! Oo~!" She said," I don't mind a little kid but if that gang looks at me with disgust I will eat them alive!"

"I will eat them with you." I said

Her grin suddenly flattened as she stared at me.

"You would eat them with me?" She asked

"Hell yeah! If they even give you a scared look I will eat them like if I was a natural born cannibal!" I replied

I then got up an turned my back to her.

"Now which way was home?" I asked myself as I looked around

I recognized the streets and went over to the edge that was the direction of home.

"You coming?" I asked as I turned my head to her

She was stood up an had a happy smile.

"Yup!" She replied

I looked at home an heard some thing snap.

"She was a spy!" The floor said

"Spy!" The objects around repeated

"She broke a camera." The windows said

'Yeah, no one asks to partner up just for entertainment. Especially with a criminal with little intel.'

I knew she was too good of a friend to really be real.

'But I'm taking a guess she doubled crossed whoever sent her...I wonder why..?'

"Hey I get hungry pretty quickly, so if I'm not able to go out can-"

"Can I get ya some body parts or bring ya back some of my kills?" I asked," not a problem."

She giggled an then we jumped to the other roof top an I lead her home.
