Bad Batch Tech x FReader: Singer in a smokey room

Start from the beginning

"A lotta people here, what you think they're doin' here?" Wrecker questioned, similar to his brothers, he had surveyed the bar the moment he was seated. "Unsure," Tech hummed, thumbing through the drinks menu, "But it can't be for the drinks, these sound revolting."

"Not much for drinking, hey Tech?" Hunter chided, remembering the numerous times Tech had declined to partake in their drinking games. Tech screwed his face in disgust, "I'd rather dehydrate than drink whatever lies in those bottles over there," Tech motioned his head to the crowded bar, full of patrons sipping down drinks faster than a lightsaber igniting.

Without warning the other clients in the bar started hooting and making mad dashes for the stage, essentially climbing over each other to get a view. Tech caught the attention of one of these men, questioning their decisions greatly, "Guessin' you're new 'ere, well, you fellas are in for a treat! No one misses a performance from 'er!" he spat out, heard turning back to the stage when the band walked out.

"A performance?" Echo repeated, sounding the word out in his mouth. Realisation then dawned on Tech, he suddenly lost the feeling to come find you, rather you had unknowingly found them, "Oh no," he whispered to himself.

Two spotlights danced around the stage, slowly dragging up to land on a deep pink curtain, it lightly danced in the breeze meaning someone was behind it and Tech had half the mind to know who. The music started up loud, knocking everyone back with how sudden it was. An angelic voice wavered out through the crass music, soft and sweet but hinting at a more...private life too.

"You had plenty money, 1922."

The curtain split apart revealing your form, the red dress that clung to your body split at your hip, exposing your smooth thigh. Your hair styled and laid beside your shoulder, gently moving with every turn of your head. Your heels clicked against the stage as you walked further into the spotlight, half-lidded eyes travelling over the rageous crowd.

"You let other women make a fool of you,

Why don't you do right, like some other men do?

Get out of here and get me some money too."

You soon spotted your crew, somehow in a crowded bar they still stood out like a sore thumb. Their jaws felt like they had dropped to the ground, eyes wide as they watched you walk around on stage, and at one point pull a man from his chair with the cuffs of his sleeves. And your voice, maker, your voice. They all soon regretted saying you couldn't sing only a week ago.

You soon made your way off of the stage, fluttering your long lashes at the women and men that helped you down. Pacing yourself, you made your way over to the batch, acting as though they were just regular customers. You smirked as you approached Tech, his cheeks a deep red when you caught his eye. The devil inside you roared with laughter, begging you to tease him to his very core. So, giving in to the desire to taunt the hell out of your crush, you sat across Tech's lap and continued to sing.

"You're sittin' down wonderin' what it's all about,

You ain't got no money, they will put you out."

You trailed your fingertip along his high cheekbones, slowly dribbling down to the pout of his lips. You could feel him trembling beneath you, his hands braced by his side and tightly clutching onto the chair. You leaned closer towards him, his panting breaths hitting your face in the most pleasant of ways.

"Why don't you do right, like some other men do?

Get out of here and get me some money too?"

Your chest was pushed up against his armour, your spine shivering with the chill of the cool plastic. You pulled away before he would faint, assuming from the deep shades of red littering his face, that would be his fate if you didn't move. You continued your walk around the batch, messing with Hunter's hair and trailing your hand up Wrecker's muscles; much to the annoyance of the recovering genius.
