"Rewriting" The Chat Blanc Episode: A miraculously out-of-the-blue story

Hi. Welcome. I won't say my writing is horrible, but it isn't Ao3 worthy, ya know? SO yeah.

"Season 3 is over. Why write this?"

➼ I don't know. I just thought it'd be cool to try it since I've stopped writing fanfiction since... the incident...(lls i used to ship irl people...so that's a thing lol)

"It's already been 1.5 years since this episode aired lol... why now?"

➼ In case y'all are unaware, the Chat Blanc episode aired on Feb 1, 2020. Another bad thing that happened in 2020 /j

➼ If you did know that, thanks for reminding me that I can't keep track of time, and that time seems irrelevant in this paradoxical pandemic. It's going to be 2 years since the pandemic started soon so I thought, better late than never. Also I just saw this tweet now lol. Instagram reposts are so random...

"When does this take place?"

➼ Right after Adrien figures it out. "It doesn't make sense! Marinette is Marinette and Ladybug is-" "Marinette!" That part.

"Whose POV?"

➼ To be honest, I don't like writing in first person, so I probably won't do that. The story will be from multiple POVs (If you're wondering how, "Alya got up from her bed, and went to call Marinette about how she got a new scoop for the blog" or something like that.), but I kinda want to try making Adrien the main character. 

➼ (No offense but,) He isn't my favourite character but I feel like Marinette gets a bit too much spotlight in canon. Honestly, Adrien has a much cooler backstory lol. So I'm going to try. No guarantees.

I saw this tweet (well, more like a repost of a tweet onto instagram) saying how the chat blanc reveal wasn't right. Like how when Adrien found out Marinette's identity he just went out and kissed her randomly. Like they said it didn't feel right and honestly I agree, so I'm going to ATTEMPT to rewrite it. There may be some differences/the dialogue may not be word for word so please cope with me haha.

➼ Marichat scenes. I'm not particularly interested in any love square ships (ladrien + marichat if I HAD to choose); and I know that there weren't a whole lotta ladynoir scenes either; but I could see how DEPRIVED y'all were... they really gave the fandom all the ships except for marichat...

➼ slow burn? if anything maybe like a...medium burn. like not slow burn, but not a oneshot. maybe. I don't know lol. (c o n f u s i o n, I know.)

➼ angst, fluff, NOT SMUT THOUGH. I don't feel comfortable writing smut in general lol. So yeah, angst, possibly fluff (if we have a good ending...) but no smut.

➼ Also, a... different type of akumatisation.

"Marinette!" Adrien exclaims, holding the beret closer to his chest. He would then run after Marinette, and chaos would ensue; but not in this universe. In this universe, it goes quite differently...

When Adrien discovers that the love of his life is the girl behind him in class, how will he react? More importantly, what will he do when a certain blue and white hero shows up at his window? (hint hint; it isn't chat blanc this time.)
