Chapter 8

The sun began to set and Maruta giggled as she Mitsuko wore a dress. Mitsuko looked to the side as she rubbed the back of her neck
"Th-this is embarrassing..." Mitsuko said as she blushed deeply
"Aww but you're so cute" Maruta said as she walked up to her and cupped her cheeks. Mitsuko looked at her and leaned in kissing her. Maruta blushed deeply and kissed her back
"Mm~ Hey that's enough" Maruta said as she broke the kiss and Mitsuko kissed her cheek
"Mitsuko we have to go" Maruta said and Mitsuko only held her closely
"Yeah I understand" Mitsuko said
"Let's put our coats on quick" Maruta said as she grabbed her own coat
"Okay" Mitsuko said as she grabbed her own coat putting it on
"I got the keys. I'll be driving" Maruta said as she smiled warmly
"Sure" Mitsuko said. The girls walked away and blushed slightly as they got to the car
"You made the reservation like I told you to right?" Maruta asked as she started the car
"Yes. Don't worry I reserved a table for us" Mitsuko said. Maruta started driving out of the house and headed towards the restaurant they were planning to eat. After the drive, the two women finally arrived at the restaurant. Maruta couldn't stop staring at her girlfriend since she stared at how beautiful she was
"Can you stop staring?" Mitsuko asked as she felt her stare
"Hehe sorry Mitsuko. I just love you so much" Maruta said as she smiled softly. Mitsuko kept blushing a bit and the girls stepped inside the restaurant. The teenage girl trembled at the table as she blushed a bit
"Uhm w-welcome. I hope you're having a wonderful night uh...n-names please?" The girl asked
"Mitsuko Taniguchi" Mitsuko said and the girl found her name
"Ah! Okay uhm...please follow me. I'll take you to your table" The girl said as she smiled slightly nervous and walked away taking the two women to their seats
"I'll be taking care of you tonight so just call if you need anything. Shall we start with the drinks?" She asked and Mitsuko looked over at Maruta who gave her a nod
"Yes please" Maruta said
"Alright what can I get for you?" The girl asked
"Mind giving us a bottle of champagne please?" Maruta asked
"Oh of course. Guess you're celebrating something special right?" The girl asked
"Mhm. Today is a special night right babe?" Maruta asked. Mitsuko couldn't help but blush and tried to cover it up with the menu
"Uhm yes. That's right" Mitsuko said
"Ah I-I see. Anyways I'll bring your champagne in a bit. I'll give you time to order what you'll like to eat" The girl said before she walked away and left the two women
"Heh it was fun seeing her expression" Maruta giggled softly
"Hm? What expression?" Mitsuko asked as she looked at her
"Heh she seemed quite surprised when I called you babe" Maruta said as she giggled softly
"Huh?" Mitsuko asked
"Heh...well it's just that I just make sure everyone knows that you're mine" Maruta said as she smiled softly and Mitsuko only blushed deeply
"Since when were you possessive?" Mitsuko asked
"Well you always had the spotlight Micchan and that includes every girl's attention" Maruta said as she smilrd warmly. Soon the girl approached them again with their bottle of champagne
"Thank you" Maruta said
"You're welcome. Now are you ladies ready to order?" The girl asked
"Yes" Maruta said as she looked at the menu. Once their order was taken, their waitress walked away with the order. Maruta jumped a bit and pulled out her phone
"Oh it seems Matsuri needs a bit of help" Maruta giggled softly and Mitsuko looked at her
"Hm? What are you giggling about?" Mitsuko asked and Maruta smiled softly
"It's just Matsuri" Maruta said
"Oh right. That little kid..." Mitsuko said
"Heh seems like your father is giving her a tough time" Maruta said
"The only reason he does that is to make sure she is good enough for Harumin" Mitsuko said
"She's still a sweet girl though. There is no need to go rough on her. We should all go on a double date" Maruta said as she smiled
"What? With them?" Mitsuko asked
"It'll be nice. You'll be with your sis and you can see how amazing Matsuri is with Harumin" Maruta said
"Hmm...alright" Mitsuko said and the girl came up to their table putting the bottle down
"Here you go" The girl said as she opened the bottle for them and started to serve their drinks onto their glass
"Thanks" Maruta said
"Thank you" Mitsuko said
"Your orders will be out in a couple of minutes. Please call if you need anything else" She said before walking away. Maruta held her glass and took a sip
"So I'll plan the double date next Sunday?" Maruta asked
"Sure. I don't have anything planned for that day" Mitsuko said
"Perfect" Maruta said. A couple of minutes passed by until their waitress returned with their meal
"Here you go" She said as she served them their plates
"Thank you" Mitsuko said
"I hope you both enjoy your meals. Call if you need anything please and uh...Miss Taniguchi would you like a special dessert? It's one the house" The girl said and Mitsuko only looked at her with a confused look
"Uhm...well I-"
"Sure. But after our little dinner please?" Maruta said as she smiled but the girl could feel the dark aura from her including Mitsuko
"I-I understand" The girl said as she smiled slightly nervous
"Thanks" Maruta said and the girl walked away
"Heh...never seen you like that before" Mitsuko said
"Hush anyways let's go ahead and start eating before it gets cold" Maruta said
"You're right" Mitsuko said
"Ah and Micchan I believe it's my turn tonight right?" Maruta asked and Mitsuko blushed deeply before coughing a bit
"Wh-what the hell?" Mitsuko asked
"Heh just saying since I haven't gotten a chance to touch you~" Maruta said and Mitsuko trembled
"You really have been spending way too much time with that Mizusawa..." Mitsuko groaned softly
"Oh Micchan. Matsuri isn't all that bad once you get to know her better" Maruta giggled softly
"We'll see about that during the date" Mitsuko said
"Alright" Maruta said
