There was only one thing Alvina Diamante had going for her, and that was her appearance. It was a common fact that every person, whether they were the Emperor or the poorest of all peasants, was aware of; everyone knew it.

Everyone.

Alvina knew it herself, and was also well aware that it could either lead to her downfall, or that it could bolster her to new heights. As such, Alvina tried her very best to live and reach an untouchable position in the society that she'd been born, and all but abandoned into.

She tried.

You see, Alvina ended up being sold off by the Imperial Family when Darius, the Crown Prince at that time, became the Emperor, and ended up in the hands of a crazed beauty fanatic who eventually killed her when she attempted to escape the abuse one night that ended up being her last.

That should've been the end of the tragedy known as Alvina, the girl who died because of her beauty and because she lacked the wit and knowledge to stand on her own.

It should've.

But, it wasn't.

She woke up the second time in her bed in the palace at 8 years old, the day before her parents died and a month before she was formally adopted into the royal family, like before.

Confused, and traumatized by her past life, she resolves that she would bolster her intelligence and save her family from the carriage accident that had befell them when they had traveled to the palace in order to visit their young daughter, who had gotten sick during her palace visit.

As such, a message was sent, and the tragedy caused by the carriage accident was assuredly averted...

...only to be replaced by an attack on her family, the Diamante Duchy, by a group of insurgents that opposed the Imperial Order.

Once again, Alvina lost her family, leaving her heartbroken, but still nonetheless determined to live well in this life.

Studying everything from magic that she had no real talent for to politics she'd seldom participate in, Alvina became a well-known scholar, full of wit that matched her beauty...

...only for her to be murdered by her own students hands—a student who had a inferiority complex to the famous scholar who was beloved by all who knew her, because of her indescribable beauty and her impeccable wit.

Again, she awoke at the age of eight, a day before her parents death.

She attempts to save her parents this time by telling them to stay at the Duchy and to bolster their guards... only for an assassin hired by a rival family to sneak into the Duchy and kill the couple in their sleep.

Overcome by grief, in this life Alvina decides to throw herself into politics, intent on inheriting the throne after being adopted into the Imperial Family, and getting revenge on the family who killed her family. And she succeeded, earning the nickname of "the Iron Empress" for her wit, her charm, and her beauty...

...but because she had a weak constitution, she died from overworking herself to death.

Again, she wakes up at eight years old, the day before her parents died.

Desperately, she once again attempts to save them by bringing them to the palace, with an armed escort surrounding the carriage in order to protect them and bring them to see their supposedly sickly, young daughter.

She succeeds in saving and bringing them to the palace, but poison meant for her was mixed into the drinks used to subdue their fatigue, and yet again, they die—only this time, it was in front of Alvina.
