Chapter 1: Burning Sensation

John POV

I waved Sera off as I walked away, feeling uneasy for some reason due to our conversation before this.

3rd Person Pov

Flashback

"Hey John, you know about those Late-Bloomers?" Seraphina asks out of the blue

John flinched, but realises she could be talking about something else. "What late-bloomers?" He asked in response. "You know, those Omega/Alpha late-bloomers"

Ah

She means those.

Thank god

"Yeah why?" John replies. "I was just wondering, out of pure curiosity if our school had anyone like that." Seraphina sighs. "You're a normal Alpha, right?" She asks John.

"Well yeah, I'm not a fancy Omni or Dominant Alpha haha, though that would be cool eh?" John laughs. "I mean, if you were a dominant, literally no one would go after you" Seraphina laughs with him.

The bell rings

"Ah, gotta go Sera. Cya!" John gets up from his seat on the rooftop waving goodbye to his best friend. "See ya" Seraphina waves back, eyes glued to her phone.

He walked to a hallway, turned a corner and sighed. For some reason he felt uneasy about what they just discussed. But he dismissed it as just a tick and continued on his way to class, which would be a good long walk on the way to class.

As he turned another corner, he bumps into the trio, Blyke ,Isen and Remi.
Their faces twist from shock to concern , as he was a cripple in their eyes. He fell over and bumped into the wall.

"Hey uh, you okay dude?" Blyke calmly reaches out his hand for John. John contemplates accepting the Alpha's hand but simply pushed his hand away, gently. "No, I'm okay. I didint realise there were people here, sorry!" John puts his cripple persona on and says his goodbyes.

But Blyke didint let him go just like that, he pulled John back and said,"hey , I wanted to tell you something!" Surprised, John whips his head around looking at Blyke "huh?". Blyke opens his mouth to speak, "I'm sorry for blasting an energy beam at you last time we met. I shouldnt have." John's eyes lighten up , not expecting the hard headed RedHead to apologise for that. 'Maybe theres still hope in this world' he thought.

"Its okay, I've gotten over it. Thanks Blyke." John smiles, a little happier than usual even though he couldnt believe it. Happy and surprised that John actually listened to him for once, Blyke waves him goodbye with a smile on his face.

The pink haired Alpha says Blyke "Woah, I guess he is nice!" Since they never actually interacted. "Yeah, I just didint want our relationship to just be him hating me because I sent a beam at his head" Blyke sighs, regretting his actions. "Well, at least he forgives ya!" Isen swings his arm around his best friend.

"Woah woah woah get off me bro" Blyke pushes Isen. "Huh? Whuh-" Isen responds, confused. "Aren't you an omega? You cant get too close to me man!" Blyke raises his voice a little. It was only recently since they found out that Blyke and Isen weren't Betas, But Alpha and Omega. This made Blyke distance himself from his Friend because he didn't want to hurt his best friend.

Sad, Isen backs away and says ,"Yeah, I know. I'm just gonna head back to my Dorm okay guys?" As he starts to walk away. Blyke earns a bonk from Remi on the Head, in the form of a fist. "YEOOWWWW WHY DID YOU DO THAT!?" Blyke half yells in response.
''Seriously!? You hurt Isen!" Remi replies to him. Dumbfounded, his face twists into confusion.
