I close my eyes and let the warm water run over my body.

My almost first ever kiss.

*

I sat on the couch, patiently waiting for my victim to arrive.

*Laughs evilly.*

I cross my legs over each other and place my hands on my knee.

I stare at the clock as the minute goes by.

"Three...two...one."

The door bursts open as Tyson walks in, his hair was damp from the rain.

He shuts the door and places his blazer on the hanger.

Just as he tempted to walk upstairs, I stop him.

"Tyson?" I call out.

His footsteps stop and he looks over at me, a confused expression settled on his features.

I pat the seat next to me, signalling for him to come over.

"Why does it feel like I'm going to be scolded for something." He mumbles as he sits down next to me.

I take a deep breath in and close my eyes, and then open them up again as I begin to speak.

"Why didn't you tell me your working in the Mafia ?" I asked him softly.

His eyebrows rose, and the same brown eyes as mine widen in shock.

I bite my lip as I nervously look at him.

"How did you find out?" He asks.

"I saw you today." I admit.

"Where?" He urges sternly.

I shake my head and point my finger at him.

"No Tyson, why didn't you tell me." I say seriously.

He sighs and rubs a hand down the side of his face.

"It was for your protection Daisy." He reveals, running a hand through his hair.

I sigh, throwing my head back against the couch and close my eyes.

"I can protect myself, Tyson. You didn't make me do all those boxing lessons for nothing." I remind him.

He stays quiet and I open my eyes and look over at him.

"I didn't want you to think of me differently either." He admits.

His hand plays with the silver watch resting on his wrist.

"I couldn't ever think of you differently Ty." I tell him, sitting up from my position.

He looks up at me and frowns slightly.

"You're my best friend." I mumble as I pull him into my embrace.

"And my only family." I remind him.

He sighs and wraps his large arms around my waist.

"Please don't lie to me again Ty." I pleaded.

He placed a kiss on my forehead and rubbed my back.

"I won't." He promises.

I sigh and snuggle my head in his chest.

"I love you." I tell him.

"I love you too." He mumbles into my shoulder.

After this, we had spent the rest of the night talking and watching movies.

Soon enough we had fallen asleep and the night had eventually turned into dawn.

Saturday had arrived and I had never been more grateful.

Tyson filled me in about his job, though didn't go too in-depth.

After breakfast, Tyson had left for work and I wandered around the house bored out of my mind.

Suddenly my phone started ringing and I picked it up.

"Daisy?" Miya's shaken voice came from the other line.

"What's wrong Miya?" I ask her worriedly.

She sniffles and responds.

"Mitch broke up with me." She sobbed.

I pull my hand over my mouth and try not to gasp.

"I'll be over soon." I say and hang up.

I quickly go over to my duffle bag and pack my things.

After packing I went downstairs and grabbed Tyson's extra car keys.

I shut the front door and lock it as I make my way towards the car.

I get in and place my bag on the passenger seat.

Turning the car on, I grab my phone and type in Ian's number before calling it.

"Hello?" Ian's voice came from the speaker.

"Mitch broke up with Miya, are you able to come to hers ?" I ask Ian.

"Fùcking bastard, I always knew he was a sleazy son of a bi-

"Ian." I cut him off sternly.

"Sorry D. I'll be there soon, I'm bringing alcohol." Ian yells the last part into the phone before hanging up.

I laugh and drive off towards Miya's.
