"As opposed to just building it right the first time?" Chase commented as Mr. Davenport frowned.

"Ya know, I think I liked you better frozen." He replied as I glared at him. "My auxiliary decelerator will stop anything— Ocean liners, freight trains, tanks, eighteen-wheelers, twelve-wheelers—"

"Does it stop unnecessarily long explanations?" Leo questioned as Mr. Davenport narrowed his eyes at Leo.

"Apparently so. Only problem is, I can't figure out how to get it on the train." He said as Chase stood up. I took the blanket off of his shoulders, folding it into my arms as he gleamed with joy.

"You guys thinkin' what I'm thinkin'?" Bree asked as her and Chase jumped for joy.

"Our first mission!"

"I WANT A PET PIG!" Adam yelled as we all gave him a weird look. He smiled innocently.

"No. No, no, no. You are not prepared for this kind of mission. It is a highly volatile situation. Down the line— Fingers crossed— There will be plenty of other horrible disasters." Mr. Davenport said as I put the blanket on the chair.

"C'mon Mr. Davenport! I've seen these guys train I think they are fully capable of handling this!" I persuaded as Adam, Bree and Chase nodded. "Not to mention your career depends on it."

"Please, Mr. Davenport. This is what you trained us for." Bree begged as their father sighed.

"All right, you gotta leave the nest sometime. Okay, get in your capsules, guys. I can't believe I'm saying this—" He started to choke up, and I almost let out a snicker. "It's time to upgrade your mission suits." He said as Adam, Bree and Chase cheered, all running over to their capsules.

"I hope you addressed the chafing problem." Adam said before walking into his capsule. I eyed Mr. Davenport, who only shrugged before pressing a few buttons.

There was a line of light that crawled up from the bottom of their capsules, revealing that the o my thing that really changed about their mission suits was the padding. At least Chase still looked good. Except for the very gelled hair.

"Nice work Mr. Davenport. Now it just looks like you took off their training wheels!" I commented as he frowned at me.

"Oo! I see you put in seat warmers." Adam said with a grin as Davenport nodded.

"All right... We'll be able to use these earpieces to communicate, and I'll monitor your progress on the train surveillance system. That way if you blow yourselves up in a fiery explosion I can watch it unfold in glorious HD." He said as we all frowned. "That came out wrong."

"There's something we agree on." I muttered, Davenport ignoring me.

"We get our first mission!" Chase cheered.

"And we get to save lives!" Bree said.

"Seriously I want a pig!" Adam yelled as Mr. Davenport set up their earpieces.

"Bree... Chase.. Adam." Davenport said, Leo grabbing Adam's earpiece before he could get it. "Leo!" He scorned as his step-son frowned.

"Well what am I supposed to use?! Two cans and a string?" Leo commented as I snatched the earpiece out of Leo's hands, giving it to Adam while Tasha walked in.

"Well, your favorite news reporter just got their big break." She said with a grin as everyone started guessing random reporters. "No, me! I am done reporting on singing dogs and babies who look like ex-presidents. The network finally gave me a real assignment. I'm covering a runaway train!" She cheered as Adam laughed.
