Chapter 27 - Hello again

Start from the beginning

Lizzie: "Our place?" She asked.

Y/n: "Well- we had dates-"

Lizzie: "We had dates?" She furrowed her brows."How come I didn't know?"

Y/n: "You're right- I never asked you on a real date, did I?"

Lizzie: "No, you didn't." She shakes her head.

Y/n: "Shit." She says. "I owe you one, for the next."

Lizzie: "And you have to impress me." She winked at Y/n. "But hey, no pressure." She sarcastically said.

Y/n: "Yea, totally. No pressure."

Lizzie laughs.

Just in the middle of Lizzie's laugh, Y/n noticed someone walked inside the restaurant, which made her want to hide from them.

Y/n: "Oh shit-" She says as she watches the person walk in.

Lizzie: "What?" She turns around to look. "Oh."

Y/n: "Yeah, 'oh'."

Lizzie: "Why are you trying to hide from her?" She asked hiding her laugh.

Y/n: "Because she likes me, and I don't think I feel the same so it just feels weird talking to her." She looks to the side and tries to cover up her face with one hand.

When Lizzie heard Y/n, she furrowed her brows and looked at her for a couple of seconds.

Although she tried her best, Hailee still noticed Y/n, which made her approach to her.

Y/n "She's coming." She sits straight.

Hailee: "Hey, Y/n!" She walks towards her.

Y/n: "Hey! Hailee!" She gets on her feet and gets closer to her for a hug.

Lizzie looks at them while they hug. Not knowing how or why she was feeling something inside her. Something she shouldn't be feeling. She's not dating her, and she's basically the reason why they now will go slower on their relationship, so, why is she feeling jealous?

Y/n pulls away from the hug. "This is Lizzie, remember?"

Lizzie awkwardly smiles. "Hi."

Hailee: "Hey. Lizzie... Olsen, am I right?" She asked with a smirk.

Lizzie nods. "You got it."

Y/n starts to feel awkward just being between the two girls. She could feel and see how they didn't get along well.

Y/n: "So... when did you come back?"
She asks, trying to make conversation.

Hailee: "Yesterday." She looks at Y/n. "I texted you if we could meet, but you didn't answer."

Lizzie tries to hide her smile, knowing that Y/n was with her the whole day... and week.

Y/n: "Oh, I'm sorry Hailee. I was busy." She says.

Hailee gives Lizzie a look, assuming that she was the reason. "I totally understand."

Y/n: "How long are you staying for?" She asked, not wanting silence kick in since she was starting to notice the rivalry between them.

Hailee: "I don't know yet. I haven't bought a return ticket." She says.

Y/n: "Oh, okay."

Although she tried, she couldn't even think about something else to talk about, so silence kicked in. There was a big tension. Lizzie and Hailee kept giving each other looks, and Y/n was just sitting there quiet, not knowing what to do.

Hailee: "So, Lizzie..." She looks at her. "How's your fiancé?" She asked with a smirk.

Y/n looked at Lizzie, just knowing this isn't an easy topic for her to talk about.

Lizzie: "He's... great." She weakly smiled.

Hailee: "I'm glad. I really like you guys together, you make a cute couple." She says.

Lizzie: "Thanks..."

Hailee: "Anyways, I won't be bothering you guys anymore." She looks at Y/n. "I'll see you later?"

Y/n: "Yeah, of course!"

Hailee gives y/n a kiss on her cheek, and walks away, not saying anything to Lizzie.
She entered a door that said, "Employees only" which Lizzie noticed.

Lizzie: "She works here?" She asks as she sees her walk inside the door.

Y/n: "No- I mean, yes. She owns this place."

Lizzie: "Oh. That's... nice."

Y/n: "Yeah, it is." She says. "Sorry for all that, by the way." She mentioned. "I didn't think she was going to know you, or even ask you about him."

Lizzie: "It's fine."

Y/n: "Are you sure?"

Lizzie: "Yes." She smiled. "Don't worry, I'm used to it."

Y/n knew that she wasn't really okay with it, but she also didn't want to keep asking about it, instead she asked about something Lizzie didn't know she noticed.

Y/n: "Okay then, but I gotta ask you something." She smirks.

Lizzie: "What?"

Y/n: "Are you jealous?" She kept smirking at Lizzie which made her get nervous.

Lizzie: "I- No- I'm not jealous." She nervously shakes her head as she answered. "Why would I be jealous?"

Y/n: "Come on, Lizzie, admit it." She teased. "I saw the look you gave her."

Lizzie denied once again. "I wasn't jealous."

Y/n: "Okay, okay." She laughs. "Whatever you say."

Lizzie rolls her eyes. "I wasn't jealous." She repeats, attempting to convince Y/n.

Y/n laughs again, still not believing her.

Y/n: "Want to go back to the hotel?" She suggests while trying her best not to keep laughing.

Lizzie: "Yes, please." She says with a serious look, which made Y/n laugh again. "Stop."

Y/n: "Sorry, sorry." She says. "Let's go."

After paying the check they both got up from their sits. When being next to her, Lizzie took the chance and poked Y/n's shoulder.

Y/n: "Ouch- I said I was sorry." She says.

Lizzie laughed and shrugged. "I don't care."

Y/n: "Remind me to never make you mad." She sarcastically says and continued walking out of the restaurant.
