Chapter 27 - Hello again

Y/n: "No?"

Lizzie: "I- it's not anything bad."

Y/n: "Oh, okay. Then, yes."

Lizzie: "I know we had done it twice but-"

Y/n: "Oh god Lizzie, not again. I told you you were amazing, you don't have anything to worry about-"

"Can let me finish?" Lizzie ironically asked, "I wasn't going to ask that." and laughed.

Y/n: "Okay, sorry. What is it?"

Lizzie: "Can we slow it down a little bit?" She asked.

Y/n: "What do you mean- as in, step by step... on us?"

Lizzie: "Yeah. Exactly."

Y/n: "Of course we can."

Lizzie smiles relieved. "I was scared you were going to say no."

Y/n: "That's offensive." She sarcastically says. "Why would I?"

Lizzie: "You have been with women before, I thought you wouldn't want for me to make you wait-"

Y/n: "What? No- I would never do that, Lizzie." She says. "Yes I have been with other women, but It doesn't mean I don't understand when one isn't ready. If you don't feel like you're ready for a relationship, I get that. Just know I'm always here when you're ready, and if you just feel like you'll never be ready to be with a woman... with me, then fine. I totally get it. Just know I'll be here waiting for you, and just you."

Lizzie: "Thank you, y/n." She weakly smiled. "I just feel like I'm not ready to have a relationship right now. Not while I'm basically still engaged. And I don't know how will people react-"

Y/n: "You shouldn't care about the people, Lizzie."

Lizzie: "But what if they don't like me after it-"

Y/n: "Whether you like it or not, there's always going to be the people who just doesn't agree with anything you do. There's people who always tries to bring you down. But I'm sure you also have the people who always supports you, so just think about those people. And if they don't like it either then screw them. You should always do whatever the fuck you want with your life, without caring about anyone's opinion."

Lizzie: "What about my mom? Boyd?" Tears began growing inside her eyes, as she started panicking, giving more thought over what they might say. "Oh god- what about my dad? He would totally hate me. He would-"

Y/n: "Lizzie, hey." She puts her hand on Lizzie's face, calming her down. "You don't have to worry about that. If they really love you and care about you, they will always support you no matter what."

Lizzie: "God- What the hell did you put in this pancakes?" She ironically asked as she cleaned up the tears in her face.

Y/n: "Oh, that's a secret I can't tell." She sarcastically said.

Lizzie: "Thank you, Y/n."

Y/n smiles. "You know, you should really start paying me to be your therapist." She sarcastically says.
