Chapter 9: Moments

"YES!" She says before hugging me tightly

"Giu...Giulia I can't....breathe...!" I try to say

She quickly lets go "I'm so sorry! It was just...I thought you were still gonna be mad at me...I mean I made your boyfriend cry....well...sob" she says while rubbing the back of her neck

"First; I was never mad at you just....shocked and second; Alberto isn't my boyfriend" I say to her as we start to walk back to her house

"Yet." She adds to my sentence

"Ha ha ha" I sarcastically say and she laughs

"I swear I've never seen him look at someone the way he looks at you, like I swear whenever he looks at you I'm pretty sure all he sees is perfection" she says

I look down at my body then look at her and scoff "Puh-lease! This body and personality have more flaws than a blob fish" I say and she looks at me funny

"What?" I ask

"Nothing! Ive just never heard someone make that comparison before" she says and I just shrug

~Time Skip to dinner~

I sit beside Giulia, in front of Alberto, to prevent anymore well....fights...while Mr. Massimo sits in his usual spot

As I'm stuffing my face with pasta I feel someone kick my foot and I look up to see Alberto smirking at me

I shake my head 'no' and look back down at my food and I hear him mumble something before standing up with his bowel and walking past me so he's standing behind everyone

He turns around while I watch him

'Treehouse when you're done with dinner' He mouths to me and I stand up and walk over to him (he's standing by the sink)

"I'm having a sleepover with Giulia so not tonight you horny fuck" I whisper to him and I hear him groan softly while pouting

I smirk then turn to face everyone "Giulia Imma go set up my bed in your room for our sleepover" I say and she gives me a bright smile and a thumbs up

I begin to make my way up the stairs when I hear another set of footsteps behind me, I sigh and look behind me to face Alberto once I reach the top of the stairs

"Alberto I already said not tonight" I say as I place my hands on my hips

"I know I know, I just wanted a goodnight kiss" he says while rubbing the back of his neck

"Oh," I say then smile "Thank you for respecting my choice" I say as I step closer to him

"O-Of course! I don't want to make you do something you don't want that would be very selfish of me" he says and I step close enough to where I can reach up and kiss him

I begin to slowly lean in while he rambles on about how he needs to respect me and my choices until our lips finally meet

His lips are soft yet have a bit of roughness to them, I gently wrap my arms around his neck as his hands find their way onto my waist. I can feel him holding back on his urge to deepen the kiss and I smile against his lips

I pull away first and open my eyes to see his eyes still closed and his lips chasing mine (you know when Like someone pulls away and the other person is like leaning in more to try and find the persons lips again, you know?)

I laugh softly and that's when he opens his eyes and he pulls his head back as a blush takes over his face

"In case you're wondering," I say before leaning up to his ear "I'm free tomorrow around noon, that'd be a good time for a date" I whisper into his ear before pulling back to look into his eyes

He quickly nods "I'll pick you up at noon then!" He says before taking his hands off my waist "oh! And wear something comfortable!" He says before walking off towards the window where the treehouse is

I laugh as I watch him almost fall then get onto the platform and begin doing a victory dance

"You're such a dork Scorfano" I say while shaking my head then heading to Giulias room to set up the fort
