First I'm sorry to say this but if you have any social media and you follow accounts that are in the fandom that you will soon enter, try avoiding scrolling and looking at posts, gifs, etc.
If you have a friend that has read the book avoid bringing it up. (If you have friends like mine and ask them not to spoil you then it won't work)
