'What should I do? What should I do? I'll decide with the coin' as Kanao was reaching for her coin she had a flashback
FLASHBACK
"Ah, Kanao!" Tanjiro greeted, running to her. He found her in the garden looking at the butterflies with an empty smile. She looked at him with that same empty smile. He took a seat next to her.
"I just want to say thank you for helping train my friends. I know they can be a bit much at times but thanks anyway" tanjiro said with a smile. Kanao didn't respond, she just looked at him eyes closed with a smile.
"E-Eh?" Tanjiro was just left sitting there without getting a response from her. It was getting a bit awkward so he started to sweat a bit. That was until she pulled out a coin
'Wha' She flipped it in the air, catch it, and revealed that it landed on heads. "There's no need to thank me, I was just following orders" she said with that same empty smile
'She talked!' Tanjiro thought with a wide smile

"You talked!" Tanjiro exclaimed "What was that coin for? You really made it twirl!" Tanjiro asked while beaming. Kanao took the coin into her hands and held her palm out
"I use it to make decisions. Heads was to talk, tails was to not talk" she explained. this confused tanjiro even more. 'Why can't she just decide for herself?'
"Well... why can't you just decide for yourself?" Tanjiro asked with a small frown. "I can't. Nothing matters to me" she said, looking at him. "Well.... everything matters. It seems like the voice in your heart is but a mere whisper" he said, deep in thought while holding his chin. "Ah! I know! Kanao, can you give me the coin?"
Kanao, though a bit reluctant and questionable, handed him the coin slowly. He stood up and walked into the middle of the garden. "Let's decide Kanao!" "Eh? Decide on what?" Kanao asked
"If you should follow your heart from now on!" This absolutely shocked Kanao. 'Who said we would decide on that?!'
"If it lands on heads you'll have to follow your heart from now on!"
Tanjiro flipped the coin high into the air. "Oh, I flipped it too high!" Tanjiro yelled "I'll get it!" He exclaimed. However, they felt a breeze, leading to them losing sight of the coin
"Ah I see it!" Tanjiro shouted Kanao was genuinely scared for the outcome. This is literally life changing. Tanjiro jumped up and catched it. He caught it with his back facing Kanao, not allowing her to see what side the coin landed on. "I caught it Kanao!" Tanjiro exclaimed
He went up to a sweating Kanao. "Are you ready Kanao?" Kanao only stared at his hands, awaiting him to reveal the answer. He removed his hand and revealed that it landed on heads.
