Eunjin's POV

I hissed and retreated my hands many times because of the pain. It hurts like hell. He finished washed it and wrap a towel around it.

"There you go. Now we just wait for my friend to arrive. He's always late." he said while keep looking at his watch. Just then the  bell rang indicated someone enter the cafe. I was busy picking my things up that I didnt see who it was.

"Finally you're here. I thought you already forgot it." Seungcheol said.

"How come I could forget it? Cause if I did you will bring it up all the time." A voice said.

Wait! it kind of familiar. I've heard it before but where..

"Eunjin, here's my friend" Seungcheol called. I turned around and almost widen my eyes. Same goes to the person in front of me.

"Eunjin, this is Wonwoo the friend that I got earlier and also a c—" Seungcheol doesnt get to finish his word when Wonwoo nudged his stomach that made him grunt.

"What was that for? geez." Seungcheol said while Wonwoo just smile at me that made me smile a little too.

"Anyway she got injured pretty badly earlier and I want you to accompany her to the hospital to check her up." added him. "Sure. Let's go" I nodded to him and thanks Seungcheol first before walked away and went inside his care once again.

"so how is her hand? is it that bad? is it infected? when will she recover? will that make her sick?" Wonwoo bombarded the doctor with lots of question. "Wonwoo, calm down. I know you are concern but I didnt know you had a girlfriend."

what? girlfriend? I looked at him and he just listened like nothing happened. Didn't he noticed what the doctor said? the 'girlfriend'?

"Okay, her hand is quite burned." the doctor said as he showed us the x-ray that I took earlier. "As you can see, it's almost effect her bone. The water must be so hot that it burned deeply into her skin and even her skin is peeling off." he explained. "Look" he added and pulled my hand to show it. "the affected area are just so big. From the wrist until the middle of her hand" he pointed that made me pull my hand back and hide it under my sleeves.

"Will it leave a scar?" I asked. "Well, since it's pretty big and deep I think it would but if you apply the medicine everyday, maybe it can lessen it." he explained and I nodded.

.The doctor sighed and give me a cream and painkillers just in case. We went out of the room after he treated my wounds. "Be careful and beware of any infections." he said and shaking hands with me. "oh by the way Wonwoo, your cousin came here earlier with his girlfriend who are also injured. Isn't it coincidence? anyway you take care and Wonwoo, take care of your girlfriend too" the doctor said and close his door afterwards.

Looking at him, seems like he's in a deep thought. I walked ahead first leaving him behind. One step more to be outside of the hospital when a hand make me came to halt. Looking back I saw it's Wonwoo. His face and eyes shows an unreadable expression.

"Tell me" he said seriously looking at me in the eyes. "Did Jeonghan did this to you?" he asked that made me surprised. "N-no" I said. He let go of my hand and put it on his waist. "Well then, did his girlfriend did this to you?" he asked again. This time I can't even speak. Its like my tongue being glued.

"Answer me. Did SHE did this to you?" he asked with more colder and strict voice that made me scared a little. I didn't know he can be this scary. I was drown in my thought when he asked again but louder this time.

"Answer me Eunjin! Did she?!" he asked and I abruptly nodded. while lowering my head. I heard he sighed and pulled me out with him.

"Why didn't you tell him?" He asked again as we sit at the nearest bench. "I-I tried but h-he wouldn't listen" I answered and he sighed. "I can't believe he believed that b*tch more than you. His wife." just then his phone rang. He took it out and sighed for the nth time "Sorry I need to take this" I nodded and at him and he walked away.

My hand will be ugly now and the doctor even said that I can't really used my hand and need to let it rest. How long will it be...I sighed and heard a message came in. I fished my phone out and saw it's from Seungcheol. "Eunjin-ah you can go home afterward. No need to come here. That girl got you so much trouble. I'll give you a week off until you're healed. You can inform me if anything happened, okay?"

I smiles at the text and replied back with "I will and Thankyou so much" I then keep my phone back in the pocket. Just then Wonwoo came back with a worried face. "Eunjin, I'm sorry. I have a really urgent coming up and I need to go now." he said apologetically. I smiled a little and wave my hand at him.

"No, it's okay. I can take a bus. You just go and take care of it. Thankyou for even wanting to accompany me here." I said and he still give that apologetic looks. "You sure you'll be okay?" he asked as I nodded. "Fine. Here's my number. I got to go now. Take care and bye" he said and quickly running to his car.

Shaking my head at his behaviour. He's so caring. I wish the President can be like this and it's him whom company me here instead and not Wonwoo.

It's almost 10pm right now and now I'm on my way to go back home. I just lied to him about taking a bus. The money in my wallet is not enough for the fare. Thus I decided to just walk. I've used to it.

Looking up at the sky and saw the sky was getting grey like rain will coming soon. I need to reach home faster but however luck will always not with me. Not after a minute I thought of it, rain suddenly pouring down heavily and even with thunder and lighting as an extra.

Panic, I ran quickly and nonstop with home in my mind. Forgetting about the rain, the cloth and moreover about the wounds, I just ran helplessly.

It took almost 2 hours to reach home. Thanks to that one uncle who's willing to give me a ride for free. He talked with me along the ride to make me feel comfortable. As we reached home, I give the only money that I have to him eventhough he refused. He finally accepted after being persuaded many times.

Standing in front of the door freezing with heavy clothes as it was soaking wet and the wound that hurts so badly that made me feel weaker. Knocking o the door quite loud as I was impatient.

The door slowly opened revealing Yumi. "Oh my god! Miss what happened to you??" she literally screamed while I shut her up. "ssh don't scream. President will heard you" she calmed down and closed the door. "You look pale. What happened?" she asked. I just shake my head and said "nothing. nothing happened" as I turned around, I bumped into a hard chest.

Looking up slowly and saw the most fierce and pissed face I've ever see. Gulping hard and thinking of something to say but before I could he already speak

"I thought you didnt know way back home again. It's 12 in the midnight and why are you soaking wet?" he asked with a cold tone as he examined me up and down.

"I-I was.... I...was....wa...w-working" I said nervously. "t-the coffee spilled on m-my c-cloth again. E-excuse me" I said and hurriedly went to my room. Closed my door tight and went to change my cloth.

Why did he asked? he didn't or never care about me.....I should stop dreaming....
