Chapter 24 The Last Day

"Oh a surprise tell me" I teased her

"No, you'll have to wait and see. Now take your lunch and enjoy your last day at Karasuno" Kiyoko said

She placed a bento into my hand and pushed me out the front door. I waved bye to her as I made my way down the street. As I walked the world seemed bright like a gray filter had been lifted. I hummed as I basically skipped to school. I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket, so I answered the call without looking at the name.

"Helloooooo," I said as I elongated the o sound

"You sound happy beautiful," the voice said

I could tell by the voice that it was Oikawa.

"I am" I admitted

"Are you happy because you'll be starting at Aobajohsai soon?" he asked

I hadn't told him that I would be going to Shiratorizawa yet.

"About that my mother and I thought it would be best if I went Shiratorizawa," I said

The other end of the phone was dead silent for a minute. I could almost feel the rage coming from the other end of the phone.

"What the fuck y/n" Oikawa finally said

I was too shocked to speak.

"You are not going to Shiratorizawa" Oikawa order

"You don't have a say in that," I finally found my voice

"Y/n if you go to Shiratorizawa you'll regret it," he said his voice was cold

"I think it would be for the best if we didn't speak anymore," I said

"You can't leave me y/-"

Before he could finish his sentence I hung up the phone.

I shook off the negative energy from Oikawa trying to not let him ruin my happy day. I made it to school before the bell rang and took my seat in class. While taking my seat I noticed the girl in front of me had a Levi sticker on her binder. I tapped the girl's shoulder and she looked at me surprised since I had never spoken to her before.

"Are you a Levi fan?" I asked

She looked at me suspiciously at first but then seemed to get excited.

"Yeah, Levi and Eren. Do you like Attack on Titan?" She asked

"Yeah, I also like Inuyasha, Naruto, Bleach, and a whole bunch of animes," I said

"Really have you watched Demons slayer yet," she asked

"No but it's on my to-watch list" I answered

The girl's name was Mai she was a nerd who loved video games and anime. We had a lot in common and we talked a lot even when Hinata and Kageyama showed up we still talked. I could see both boys wanted to interrupt our conversation but they didn't. The teacher came in and started class which ends my and Mai's conversation. After a long boring lesson about e=mc², it was finally time for lunch.

"Hey y/n you want to eat lunch with my friends and me," Mai asked

"Sure" I replied

I quickly followed Mai leaving a confused Hinata and Kageyama behind. Mai and her friends liked to eat on the roof of the school. There were two other girls name Nanni and Sue both girls were also nerds. Once they found out I was a nerd they greeted me with open arms. We talked about our favorite animes and who the hottest characters were. They all made me laugh and I wish I would have become their friends sooner.
