Clay walked over to Sylvia and Nick, smiling smugly. He looked at Sylvia to see her reaction, she wasn't happy.

"You guys wanna come to a party tonight? Zoey over there is throwing one tonight."

She looked over at Nick to see what he was thinking.

"Sure man, I'll go," Nick answered, "Sylvia?"

She raised her brows, "Yeah, okay."

"If you guys end up changing, Sylvia, you should wear that dress I like." Clay winked and got up to go back to talk with Zoey or whatever.

Sylvia scoffed, "Where does he get off."

Nick chuckled lightly.

__

Sylvia, Nick, and Clay were all leaving to go to the party after getting permission from George. All he made clear was to not come home extremely drunk. Clay was driving, probably not the best idea. Sylvia sat in the back with Nick so she could chat with him.

She wore a short black silk dress with a corset on top. It was the dress Clay liked, but she didn't wear it for him.

Nick and her were going through Tiktok together. She passed a few Sapnap edits. Nick made her go back every time.

"I SWEAR ITS JUST THE ALGORITHM!"

"Yeah yeah... sure." Nick raised his eyebrows at her.

Sylvia passed by the last one and slumped out of her seat from the embarrassment. He kept teasing her about it.

"So, how long have you had a crush on me?" He grinned.

She gave him a playful glare, "Never."

"Oh really!? Let's look at your likes."

She flung herself at him, desperately trying to get the phone while he scrolled and click other edits.

He handed her the phone, "I'm impressed, Fox."

"I hate you so much."

Clay slammed on the break out of nowhere. He continued driving, pretending that nothing happened. Nick and her took it as a sign to stop, but Nick didn't. Instead, he put a hand on Sylvia's thigh and looked to the rearview mirror to meet Clay's eyes. Sylvia was completely oblivious to what was going on.

"Hey, Clay, how much longer till we get there?" Sylvia asked.

He looked at the GPS, "Soon, around two minutes or so."

Clay took a sharp turn making Sylvia lean into Nick. Sylvia soon recovered from Clay's... exceptional driving but still leaned lightly on Nick. His hand rubbed circles into her skin absently.

After a bit longer, they made it there. Nick had an arm wrapped around her shoulder while Clay walked beside them. He spotted whats her face and jogged over to her. Then, Nick saw Sylvia's attention move to them.

"You wanna go grab a drink, maybe dance?" He offered.

She smiled, "Yeah, that sounds nice."

They walked inside and were met with loud music, a crowded room, and the heavy smell of alcohol. Sylvia hated and loved it at the same time. She felt many eyes on her when she stepped further in, primarily males.

"Over here!" Nick grabbed her hand and led her through the sea of people.

He theatrically moved his arms to display a wide range of beers and liquors. Sylvia laughed.
