Dang this book is already doing well, thank you guys! ^ - ^

I want to try and update once a week for you all, but I'm not sure which day to pick... σ^_^;

Plus I had no good creative bursts at all recently.

This week has been pretty bland and dull quite honestly. I had to take a mandatory fitness test after going a full school year without a physical fitness class.

You can imagine how I've felt since passing all the tests. (Wow I'm fit! Who knew?)

*abdomen and thighs burn every time I move*

...thanks body...(^)

Anyway sorry for rambling...I hope you enjoy this chapter!

We pulled up to a nice house in a part of town I rarely visited. I guess this explained the car. I unbuckled and got out as Natsu did.

"So...this is where you live?" I ask as I look around a bit.

"Yup. Now hurry up, if you don't get in soon my neighbors will start whispering about it," he hissed. I nodded and raced to the door. He reached around me and opened the large door and as he pushed it open I stepped into the lavish house.

I followed Natsu through the house until we reached a room that could rival the school's weight room. My jaw almost dropped - but I kept it in place.

"How many people work out here?!" I ask incredulously as the smell of rubber and equipment graced my nose. I turn to look at him.

"It alternates...but around thirty." He shrugged. This time my jaw did drop and my mouth looked like an 'o'.

"Do you run a secret gym or something? Why would that many people use this?" I turn to him as he pulled off his t-shirt revealing the extremely well toned muscles on his chest. Oh dear sweet lord... I had to force my eyes away from him.

"I'm part of a sort of...underground boxing ring...with ties to a gang." He told me, and I tossed a surprised look his way. He seemed unaffected by this bold information.

"So you fight unofficially and brutally, or something along those lines?" My voice is hesitant, and I think he could tell because he walked over to me in a few quick strides. He towered over me.

"Fighting shouldn't be used just to beat someone up. I'm only teaching you for protection, nothing else. Understand?" He eyed me seriously. I gulped and nodded quickly. But you didn't answer my question...He stepped back folded his arms.

"Alright, I want twenty push ups and sixty sit ups. Go." He ordered me out of the blue, but I immediately obeyed.

After I finished I sat breathing heavy as my muscles burned and ached. Then Natsu tossed me some wraps for my hands before he grabbed his own.

"Do you know how to put those-ah come here Luce," he waved me too him after he saw me fumbling with the wrap.

"Erm, well I just don't know how to..."I mumble sheepishly. He clicks his tongue and shakes his head as a soft chuckle slides past his lips. This is growing more cliche by the second... I bite my lip as Natsu wraps my hands for me.

"Thanks," I glance up at his emotionless face. He finishes his own and then leads me to a bag.

"Okay, I want to see what you can do. Just punch the bag," he instructed. I nodded and threw my balled fist at the bag. I noted that I should keep my thumb out of my fingers so I don't break it. He nodded approvingly.

"Your stance could be improved but you have good swing," he smirked making my heart race and my breathing catch in my throat. My face flushed red and I looked back at the bag quickly.

Suddenly the door opened and a few people came in. I froze and Natsu looked unaffected, obviously used to it. A guy with tussled blue hair and another with raven black hair walked in. The one with dark hair saw me and Natsu and an amused look crossed his face.

"Hey look, Jellal, Hot Head found another babe," he lightly punched the blue haired guy with a strange tattoo over his left eye on the arm. I scowled to myself and Natsu ignored them. Then Jellal and Raven Head strolled over.

"What do you want Ice Princess?" Natsu asked annoyed.

"Calm down Natsu, Gray just wants to check out the blondie." Jellal laughed.

Gray slid an arm around my waist and leaned his face into my neck. My eyes shot open widely and my face heated up. Very suddenly I was yanked out of Gray's grasp and held against a warmer body.

"Back off," I heard Natsu's distinct voice growl. The response was a chorus of chuckles.

"Chill out dude, she's yours." The two walked toward another part of the room. Natsu let go of me and I looked up to see him glaring in their direction. After that we began practicing more.

"Alright, make sure as you punch you straighten your arm and twist your fist so it's flat." He guided my arms slowly. "Swing with your opposite arm, turning your shoulder toward the area you want to punch. Keep adjusting your stance." He watched me as I threw countless punches.

I felt my hands stinging and aching and finally after conditioning I collapsed to my knees. "So...tired..." I murmur. I hear Natsu chuckle and help me remove my gloves and wraps. Then he led me out to his car.

I yawned and felt my eyes drooping as Natsu drove. The car was silent, you could faintly hear the engine running like a lulling sound...the soft rumble reminded me of my father, a man who loved cars. He used to work on them when he wasn't in the office, and I always managed to sneak past my mom and into the garage where I'd get myself dirty helping him.

A soft smile was played on my lips as I remember painting the finished car, that still sat in the garage. It was going to be a gift for mom, unbeknownst to her. But it was one gift that never got to be given...

I jolted back to reality and out of my dream land when Natsu was leaned over me unbuckling me and lifting me from the car. He walked me up to the door and set me down but I still had my arms wrapped around his neck, my body still leaned on his.

"Thanks..." I murmur before shuffling inside. It was quiet telling me my dad and Michelle where asleep. I collapsed on my bed, and had the deepest sleep of my life.
