My Lady

She took a deep breath, and before she could start explaining herself a loud thud coming from the castle interrupted her
"What was that?" with a confused face
You both stood up to check, she carefully pushed you behind her as you both walked back inside
"Daughters?"
She shouted and waited for a response, but nothing

"Stay here"
Alcina said and entered the castle, leaving you outside
You didn't want to stay by yourself so you followed her instead
She turned around hearing your footsteps
"You don't listen do you?"

"I guess not"
You smiled mischievously at her while she raised an eyebrow
You both stared at each other until she broke the silence
"Fine, but stay close"
you nodded and followed her upstairs
The hallway was silent, until someone stormed out of one of the doors

It was Karl, you both looked at him confused on why he had a man on his arms
Bela, Cassandra and Daniela were behind him trying to devore that poor man
"Hello Alcina"

"What in the hell are you doing here... with that mortal?"
Her tone was a little exhausted from Heinsbergs presence
"You see, this man was creeping around, and I as the good and perfect per-"
"Your point"
She crossed her arms
"Let me finish will you? I captured him for you"

"He's mine" The three sisters said simultaneously, then began to debate each other on who would get him first
"Silence girls"
Lady Dimitrescu got her claws out and cut the man's chin, lifting his head up to hers
You stood still behind her

"What do you think you're doing here?"
He just laughed, showing his bloody teeth, his body was weak but he didn't say a word
With her free hand she slapped him across the face, almost knocking him out
He laughed again, everyones faces went straight to Alcinas annoyed face
Heisenberg threw the man against the wall and he just laid there
"And here I thought you were intimidating"
Alcina brought her attention to him even more angered
Just when they began to argue with each other you walked towards that man and crouched in front of him
You moved the hair off his faced and helped him sit, resting his back on the wall
"Hey..."
He looked at you and widened his eyes
"You're- you're not one of them"

You smiled and stroke his shoulder
"Just like you"
Suddenly everyone's arguing stopped
The sisters were quiet and so were those two
"You need to leave~ He groaned in pain by all the cuts he had
~they're coming"
"Who's they"
He seemed very weak, you placed your hand on his cheek trying to wake him up, but it was useless
You got a bit sad by it, that poor man

In his coat he had a patch that looked very familiar
It looked like the ones hunters used back in your town
"That patch...I've seen it before"
You stood back up and turned to tell Alcina and Karl
"I think he's a Hunter, my Father used to be one- before.."

You stopped yourself and looked down, you could feel alcina's saddened eyes glued on you
She then moved Karl and Bela aside to discuss with them
Maybe about the hunters
"That's more blood for us"
Daniela said
Bela didn't look as excited when she came back
Alcina and Karl returned, He gave you a weird look before he walked towards the hunter

"Now he's useless, let's go girls"
He picked the man up on his shoulder and the girls followed him downstairs eager to taste him

"Sweetheart will you come with me"
She stroke your shoulder and guided you to her chambers

You entered and sat down on the loveseat
Your eyes followed Lady Dimitrescu as she kneeled down in front of you
She caressed your cheek while burying your face in her hand
Certainly your were worried at what she had to say
"Is there something wrong"
You said and waited for an answer

"Yes, in fact there's something wrong"
Her eyes were quite saddened so you held her hand tightly
Which she quickly let go of
"Well? what happened?"

"Dear... you have no idea how you have made me feel and you- you are simply perfect"
"Alcina? wha-"
"It was lovely... but things do need to come to an end sometime..."

You froze in that instant, your heart sank and you could feel hers did too
"I can't risk your life..."
She placed both hands on your cheek and held your face, your eyes were filled with tears
"You deserve so much more than me and because I love you I can't take that from you"

You pulled yourself away from her hands and stared at her straight in the eyes
"But you- you are more than enough for me"
She gulped and you could see her vulnerability for once
"don't make this any harder than it has to be"

"Why now? please answer me"
She pulled you in, just a small
gap in between
when you finally closed it kissing her soft lips
"You were always a curious one"
Her shoulders relaxed, for a small minute her armed wrapped around you in a hug
It felt like an eternity and just when her embrace had gotten warm she pulled back and stood up

She opened the door and waved for you to come
you followed her silently hoping she had changed her mind, she took you to a back door and stood there taking a deep breath
Then opened the door and there was Karl
You looked confused at him
"What is this?"

"Not a scratch on her you hear"
She ordered Karl, without hesitation he nodded coming up to you
Alcina closed her eyes and held the door as tight as she could almost breaking it
"Honey"
You said with your voice cracking and chuckled in disbelief
Karl forcefully picked you up and took you, you tried fighting your way out but he was too strong
"Don't you dare do this to me Alcina"
Once again you voice cracked, she tightened her closed eyes
Karl took you to a coach
you shouted her name but she didn't do anything other than stand there

You began to cry and with the little strength you looked out the back window
"come on"
The carriage started to move, she finally opened her eyes and you saw or at least thought of a tear falling from her cheek
Maybe believing that would've made you feel better
But you felt too heartbroken
Where would you even go now?

Further out the castle she closed the door, well not exactly she slammed it
"Take me back"
You teary voice said to Karl as you kept looking at the castle in hope for her to run back for you
"No can do, If this is painful for you, I couldn't imagine what it feels for her... either way you probably have a family don't you?"

You didn't even answer... why would she throw you out like that, not that is seemed easy for her
But you could protect yourself, there was no need for that out of nowhere
And your family
