It was peaceful outside and I enjoyed, but I was definitely running on no sleep and we needed to get back home, having an hour left in the drive.

I was walking ahead of Vinnie, while he wondered behind me.

I heard sounds of a phone camera clicking, so I turned around quickly, only to find Vinnie snapping pictures of me. "You taking pictures of me? That's not weird at all." I say.

"You looked nice and I thought you'd might've liked them." He retorts, handing me his phone. I look at the pictures and smile, actually loving how they came out. "You're lucky they're cute."

"Send them to me though, I want to post them." I continued.

We finally made it to the car, we this time getting in the drivers seat.

I put the address in the gps and was quick to pull off down the road. It didn't take long for Vinnie to dose off, so when we hit traffic I put on my playlist and listened to music on a low volume during the next hour.

I realized I hadn't talked to Mila or Nessa since I left the house and I knew my phone was blowing up but I chose to ignore it and just wait until I got home.

Probably a major mistake because I forgot my mother was here and would not be happy that I wasn't answering my phone for any of them.

By now I was pulling up to the house, with a now awoken Vinnie. It was his car so he was going to head to his hotel while I had to head inside. But before I could leave he made sure to give me a hug goodbye, with a kiss on my cheek. My face definitely heated up but I tried to pull it off as much as I could by pushing him away and telling him good bye.

I watched as he drove off down the street before I made my way into the house.

Standing around the couch was my mother, Mila and Nessa, all with angry looks on their faces. "Well hello to you guys." I sarcastically state, earning a glare from Mila.

"Cleodora. Where the fuck have you been? I get a call from Mila this morning panicking because they can't get a hold of you? Is your phone off?" My mother curses.

"Yeah, my phone died after I left last night." I shrug.

"What so that's just it? You're not sorry for having us worried shitless about you?" Mila confronts me. "Why would I be sorry? I told you I was leaving last night, you watched me leave."

"Yeah I watched you leave, but that last time I ever watched you leave me it was a large fucking chance that you'd never come back." She jabs, making my jaw completely drop and the silence in the room only thicken.

Nessa looked at Mila, who then made eye contact with me and my mother.

"Woah. I went out with my friend after y'all threw this big fucking party at this house that I didn't even want anyway because it was filled with 95% of people I didn't even fucking know and I'm the wrong one for wanting to be left alone? I went out with Vinnie, which you knew! He has a phone that you could've called if you were so adamant on reaching me. But did you? NO! So don't try and guilt trip me about my past actions. You didn't have to go through what I went through and you also don't have to keep throwing that shit in my face wherever you see fit. Real friends don't do that." I say, pushing past them and into my room.

I slammed the door shut, locking it behind me.

The closest thing next to me was a glass that sat on my bedside desk, so my anger got the best of me, as I threw it across the room.

It shattered as soon as it made contact with the bedroom door but I didn't have one care in the world.

I genuinely don't think it's wrong of me to not answer my phone after not wanting to be bothered. I like not having contact with people but I think it's a load of shit when they sit there and try to pretend to be so worried when not one person bothered to call Vinnie when they knew I was with him.
