Recap:
The group meets three boys with dark pasts, one of them who later that night lost control of his powers. After being allowed to stay in the penthouse until Leon heals, they move into a house by the East River that Rylie insists upon letting them stay, after the three warned the group of a powerful Elite capable of consuming other powers.
And after a surprise visitor blew up Rylie's billboard and brought more chaos upon the city, it became even more clear that there was more trouble to worry about than the PIS.

The next day, Rylie had a live interview scheduled with Senator Stronghold, a strong willed human who planned to run for president. Selina couldn't wait to see how well it goes, or see the look on his face when the pro-PIS man goes down.
But when she turned on the news that morning, she couldn't believe what she saw. There she was. That was definitely her. But her eyes were pure black. She didn't remember them being so black.
