Chapter 21 - Decision

Ugh. I hate how it takes me a month to give you guys an update. But I can't help it. Nothing comes into my mind to write down. Soooo...finally I literally tried to write something and came up with this. I'm sorry if it's so short. Kind of like a filler chapter, actually.

Chapter 21 – Threatened

 

  “…OhBlooming Wildflower

   I beg you, please tell me

   Why do people fight and hurt each other?”

 Momoko’s POV

   “Thank you for shopping, come back soon!” The cashier says with a friendly smile as I took the paper bags. I smiled back at her. Well, someone really loves their job huh? I walked out of the store and into the parking lot where my beautiful baby is parked.

   I put the bags on the back seat. I put up the convertible’s hood this morning since it’s getting a little bit chilly if I drove around town with the hood down. I checked my phone to see if I have messages before shoving the keys into the ignition.

   ‘You done shopping?’ was Brick’s message.

   I replied with a, ‘Yep. I’m heading to the mall. How’s Boomer?’ I started my car up and drove out of the parking lot and into the road heading for Sunset Mall. I waited for Brick’s reply when my phone started ringing. I knew who it was and answered without looking at the caller ID since my eyes are glued to the road.

   I put it in loud speaker. Better safe than sorry.

   “Yeah Brick? What’s up?”

   “Boomer’s fine. He’s with Miyako right now currently getting some scolding probably. Where are you?”

   “Heading for Sunset Mall. There’s a Castella branch there as well.” I said and made a left. “Oh. I’ll meet you there then. I’m with Butch right now. I’ll get him to drop me off at the mall. He’s heading out to meet with Kaoru anyway.”

   I smiled. “That sounds like a plan. I’ll see you in Castella?” My eyes took a quick glance behind me. I knew it. Someone is following me. It doesn’t look like any normal car who’s heading somewhere. It’s tailing me. I’ve noticed this when I was on my way to the grocery store.

   I thought it was just my imagination but clearly it’s not. Just who the hell is following me?

   “Momoko?”

   I blinked. “H-huh? What were you saying?” I can feel him frowning at me. “Babe, you’re driving and your head is in the clouds. That’s not good. Is there a problem?” I shook my head and smiled. Should I tell him about this? But that’ll only make him worry, though.
