I don't know what Mason said to persuade me and how stupid I was at that moment that I agreed to come to the tattoo parlor. It was already a few days after the picnic and Mason practically dragged me here. No matter how much I fight back, he's still stronger.
"Come on I'm scared! I heard it fricken hurts with the needles and stuff." I shivered from the thought as he tried to push me in through the door.
"You have to face your fears, it's not even that bad!" He nearly carried me inside and set me down on one of the large chairs. A guy approached who was covered with tattoos and they talked by the door way.
Damn it, they were blocking my only escape route.
"So Audrey, what kind of tattoo do you want?" The guy asked me.
"I don't want one, he made me come here!" I pointed at Mason who just chuckled.
"Oh it's not that bad, life's about taking risks." I folded my arms across my chest and stared at Mason.
"You're not gonna let me out of here without a tattoo aren't you?"
"Nope," he said with a wide grin.
"Fine but you're getting one too!"
He shrugged. "It's not a problem for me."
"It's not a problem for me..." I mimicked him under my breath and stuck my tongue out. He laughed and came to sit on a stool next to me.
"So Drake I was thinking of something small, you know for the first time?"
"Yeah, we can do it on the wrist. That's the popular thing now I guess." He took my hand and held it by the wrist. "Do you want it there?"
   "I g-guess so," I stuttered.
"And what do you want it a tattoo of?"
"Umm... I don't know, like a tiny infinity sign or something."
"Okay," he said and turned to his equipment. I gulped. I stretched out my right hand and he took it, starting to get the right needle.
I felt Mason's hand intertwine with my free left hand. I looked at him and met his eyes.
"If this hurts then keep in mind I might squeeze your hand until it falls off." He chuckled and sat by my side through the process. I yelped and screamed and maybe even cursed a few times through it all. Luckily there weren't many people here or else I would have made a fool out of my self.
The tattoo was small so it didn't even take 10 minutes to finish. I kept on blowing it to ease the pain. I got up from the seat and jumped around.
"Oh God finally that's over with!"
Now Mason took a seat and I looked at him. "I knew you could do it," he said.
   "Of course because I'm amazing."
"No doubt there." He smiled and turned towards Drake.
"I guess I'll get the same tattoo, you know to be done fast. We have to get back to campus soon."
   "Okay in the same place?"
"No way the whole wrist tattoo stuff belongs to the girls, I'll have it on my neck." Drake nodded and started working on it. When he was done Mason also had a small infinity sign on the back of his neck, near his hair.
"We're matching now," I cooed and we laughed as we walked out of the parlor after paying and thanking the guy.
"Yep," he said and put his sunglasses on. I couldn't stop running my fingers over the tattoo because it didn't feel real. And I couldn't believe that it would be there forever.
We soon got back to campus without anyone noticing that we were gone. When we reached the dorm I almost slipped on an envelope that was put by our door. I opened it and read it:

You: Audrey Knight and Mason Evans

are invited to an awesome and exciting Christmas party right on campus!
Celebrate the holidays here before winter break on the 24th of December, 3:00 pm in the main lounge.
~Sincerely, campus activity planners group.

I felt Mason peeking over my shoulder to read the letter as well.
"Wow it's already the end of December next week."
"Yeah times go by so fast, but we have major exams before then." I sighed.
   "But we are totally going."
"Of course, we aren't missing a good party." I laughed.
