(Third person POV)
"Bye y'all" Jay said.
The group of friends all separate to go to their first classes. Every one said their good byes and walked to class.
Carly's first class was chemistry. She's also an all A's student like her other band mates and most of the students here . They have to get all A's otherwise they can't perform their music in the schools auditorium. They have other places to play too but they use the auditorium most of the time because they play on the week days when not many stages are open for them. They also play on weekends at local restaurants but they use the school to record their songs.
Chemistry went by quick like normal and her next class was with a few of her friends like Sky, Drake, and Brian. They chatted a bit before class started.
"Did you hear about the new kid?" Sky asked the group.
"No I didn't are they in your class?" Carly questioned.
"I had her in my first class she was super friendly." Brian stated.
"Neat do you think she has math with us now?" Carly wanted to know out of curiosity.
"She might not sure" Brian said.
"Hopefully she plays drums" Drake chimed in.
"That would be amazing if she did" Carly said.
"Right like we could use a drummer our tracks so far are tolerable but without that drummer it can't reach it's full potential" Brain explains.
"True" Sky says. "It's fun to listen and watch you guys play but your just missing a drummer."
Then the bell rang signaling that class has started. The teacher walked in and wrote the warm up on the board and then said that she had an announcement to make to the class.
"We have a new kid today Her name is Mackenzie please treat her nicely. Mackenzie dear you will sit in that empty seat next to Carly. Carly please raise your hand and say hi so that Mackenzie knows where to sit." The teacher said.
"Hi there I'm Carly the one in the back" Carly said raising her hand. Trying not to scare off the poor girl firsthand. She did look pretty darn cute so she thought hey if she's not a drummer at least she can give me a fun time for a bit that freshman has started to bore me lately.
