That stare proves she meant something to the handsome hunk.
Those look that made her feel like she was more special than she was.
That stare that seems she was made out of some kind of rear gem.
She won't ever get used to it.
Not anytime soon. Not ever.
"Thank you." She appreciated, flushed. He sure knows how to make a woman's heart weak.
He snaked his arms around her waist.
"You don't have to thank me. You are worth more. You are indescribable."
She grinned in reply. He leaned forward to kiss her cheek but she held a hand out pressing it lightly on his chest.
"No. Remember, not now." She said.
"What the hell Lola! How do you want me to be able to survive today without touching you? That's bad." He complained bitterly.
"You won't die. You will live." She sassed with a smirk.
"Common babe. Don't be like this. Okay. Just one. Once. Please."
"Nah." She disagreed with a shake of her head. And Demilade heaved a frustrated sigh. She looked at her silver wristwatch. "Don't you think we should be on our now? You hate to be late remember?"
"It's not fair Tiwalola."
"So is life darling." She winked and she smiled coyly. Then she adjusted her dress and walked ahead of Demilade who was still staring at her backside. "Do you want to stare at me all day, pouting or do you want to leave?" She asked arching a perfectly carved brow.
Demilade sighed. He promised himself not to get on Lola's bad side again. She was damn good at punishing him.
And he went over to her side, opening the door for her. He entered the owner's seat beside her.
She used her eyes to scan him from head to toe. Not that she hasn't seen him before then but she had suddenly become aware of him. His perfume and smell were as strong and alluring as ever. His perfectly shaved beard and his hunk stature. Everything defined and makes up his dangerously good looks.
"One more thing, you are looking so handsome, Love." She complimented sincerely as she admired his neatly cut and sown navy blue native attire. The cloth looked so fitted on him like the tailor had cut the cloth out of him. And it did well to make his biceps more pronounced leaving him nothing less than handsome. Something he doesn't even seem to notice. And just effortlessly, he was looking the best.
And it leaves her wondering how God seems to create some people. He was very good-looking for a man and he was also damn rich to top it all.
Wasn't she a lucky soul for meeting him? Her subconsciousness reminded her of how lucky she was.
"I'm going to get a lot of evil stares today." She added with a smirk and Demilade laughed. He even had to fist his hand to cover his mouth as he cracked up in laughter. From the corner of her eyes, Lola could see the driver look their way through the rear mirror. He looked a bit shocked - probably because he was seeing his always serious and impassive boss laughing heartily - and amused. A small smile grazed his lips before he turned back to the road.
"You're funny love." He said still grinning.

Lola entered the house with Demilade keys. She had left him in the car where he was making a call. He had been on call since they left the last party.
