IT WAS TIME for the curtain call. Phoebe stood in one of the wings, her red tank top and white jeans on as she waited for her cue. Miss Jenn had gotten the school's band to play We're All in this Together for the musical.
"Together, together," the dancers walked out and linked hands as they bowed before beginning the choreography. "Together, everyone."
"Together, together, come on, let's have some fun," Ashlyn walked out. She bowed before joining in with the dancers.
"Together, we're there for each other every time," Seb was carried by Rico and a few other dancers. He was set down and held hands with Rico as they bowed.
"Together, together, comeonlet's do this right." Gina and Kourtney came through the isle created by some dancers as they high-fived. "Together, together, together everyone."
EJ walked out with a basketball and twirled it on his finger. Phoebe cheered for him and EJ looked over to her, sending her a wink as he bowed before joining the choreography.
"Together, together, come on, let's have some fun." Phoebe took a deep breath before going through the isle and bowing. She smiled when she spotted her dad and Jack.
"We're all in this together," Nini and Ricky came out next, holding hands. Ricky bowed and Nini curtsied. Ricky pushed her forward, letting her soak in the applause as he clapped for her. "Once we know that we are, we're all stars and we see that. We're all in this together, and it shows when we stand hand in hand, make our dreams come true."
"We're all in this together," Phoebe looked around at the people who had become her family and up at Clara and Big Red. Everyone had worked so hard to get where they were. Sure, the show had gone through a lot, but they did it. "When we reach, we can fly, know inside, we can make it. We're all in this together, once we see there's a chance that we have and we take it."
"Wildcats, sing along, yeah you really got it going on," Phoebe watched Nini whisper something in Gina's ear. "Wildcats, in the house, everybody say it now."
The two girls left the area. Gina came back with Miss Jenn and Carlos while Nini walked to them with a tray in her hands. "We're all in this together. When we reach, we can fly, know inside, we can make it."
