Chapter 12

Your feet slip out from underneath you and you fall into Nick who isn't even halfway through the front door, luckily she manages to catch you before you hit the floor. "What are you guys doing now?" She gives you a look. "Kevin tried to do the Simba thing to me with his spit!" you hide behind your roommate a bit out of breath. Nick glares at Kevin, "Dude come on really? That's kinda gross." Kevin shrugs and heads to your room to wash his hands in the bathroom, "Alright geez Mom I'll go wash my hands." She watches him with a confused expression as he goes into your room, "why didn't he just wash his hands in the kitchen?" You jump over the couch and settle back into your spot and pull Gaege down next to you. "oh yeah that's because Morty and Rocket are gated off in the kitchen," You respond resuming your work on the Lego structure you had been working on almost all day. "Rocket? Who's Rocket?" She raises an eyebrow and looks and you and Gaege. Kevin sprints back into the room cutting you off before you can answer, "OH MY GOD DUDE I FORGOT YOU DON'T KNOW YET YOU GOTTA MEET ROCKET SHE'S AWESOME CHECK IT OUT." Without breaking his sprint he launches himself over the baby gate slipping upon landing and hitting the kitchen floor. "I lived bitch," he hops back to his feet with a grin and picks up Rocket, this time carefully stepping over the gate and placing the puppy in Nick's arms. "This is the Rocket in question." He smiles at the chunky puppy in her arms. She looks down at the small (well small for a big puppy) dog then back at Kevin who is now taking his seat on the floor with you and Gaege, "Who got a puppy?" Kevin starts helping with the last portion of the legos and looks at Nick as she sits down with you still holding Rocket, "Gaege says she's his but I adopted her so she's my dog and his roommate." You sit back and take a few sips from your energy drink and join the conversation, "she gets along with Morty. So does that mean she can hang out over here as much as these two idiots do?" You ruffle Gaege's hair and smile as the fluffy mess falls into his eyes when he sticks his tongue out at you. "She's definitely welcome here anytime she wants and every chance we can kidnap her," Nick smiles talking in a baby voice at Rocket. You connect the last few bricks and sit back looking at the huge Lego structure that you've been working on for hours. "Well that took fucking forever," Kevin sighs and finishes off his drink then crushes the can. "You're telling me, dude. I'm gonna put on something comfy and we can all chill, you guys wanna get some food and watch a movie?" You stretch and stand up. Gaege nods and takes his boots off and tosses them by the front door then lays across the couch mumbling, "Mmmmm food" into the couch pillows. You smile and head to your room and change into one of the baggy shirts Gaege had brought you and a pair of soft pajama shorts. You return to the living room and lay on Gaege's back, "hey dummy." He wiggles a little bit under you and laughs, "Hey baby, what do you wanna order to eat?" You shrug and wrap your arms around him, "I dunno what do you guys want?" Kevin and Nick whisper to each other for a second then exchange a look before they turn to you and answer in unison, "Pizza." You look at both of them, "It's so creepy when you guys answer like that, reminds me of the twins from the Shining movie." Gaege props himself up on his elbows holding both of you up as he answers, "I agree with the Shining thing, and dude I want wings." You rest your head between his shoulders as he lays back down, "yessss, and pasta too." Kevin jumps up from his spot on the floor and grabs his phone and starts to order the food through the restaurant website. "So pizzas pasta and lots of wings," Kevin looks at everyone. The group nods in agreement and he finishes putting in the order, "Alright the food should be here in like 20 minutes." You get up so Gaege can sit up and head into the kitchen to grab everyone's drinks. You grab 4 Whiteclaws and when you come back into the living room Gaege sits up patting the spot next to him on the couch. You sit down next to him and put your legs across his lap then hand everyone a drink, "wanna watch something on YouTube?" Nick grabs the TV remote and sits on the couch between you and Kevin, still holding the puppy, "I get to pick first, everyone close your eyes!" You look at her and shrug as you all close your eyes. The next thing you know Gaege's voice is coming from the TV, "Hey google start an okay boomer chain." You open your eyes stifling laughter, "okay boomer," You look at Gaege imitating him. He groans, "Come on guys it was my first video with the boys give me a break." You snuggle to him, Awwww baby I like the video, you've always been my favorite out of the boys." He kisses the top of your head, "Thanks for liking me even though I'm an idiot." Nick hands Kevin the remote, "Hey Gaege look where that video got you, be grateful you were an idiot and decided to be in that video otherwise y/n probably never would have discovered you. Plus you've got a great fan base now." The doorbell rings and Nick hands you the puppy before jumping up and running to the front door with Kevin not far behind. They get the order and put on a movie and everyone starts eating the massive amount of food Kevin ordered.
