Chapter 7

You pull into the parking lot of a large park and he turns his car off, "I told you we were almost here." He grabs his keys and phone and you all climb out of the car. "Come on you both walk so slow" You adjust your backpack and speed up a bit so Gaege won't leave you. Nick quickly realizes she's falling behind and sprints up falling in line with you and Gaege's stride. After a short walk, you get to where the boys are, there's a big blanket spread in the grass where Josh and Grant are arguing about fairy bread while Eddie Gabby Mully and Kristie (idk how to spell her name and I just remembered narrator's) ignored them engulfed in their own conversation. Gaege clears his throat gaining the whole group's attention, "I brought y/n and Nicole." He seats himself on the blanket waving you and Nick over to them. You sit next to Gaege and Gabby invites Nick to sit with her, Eddie, and Grant across from you, she happily takes the place between Gabby and Grant. Everyone begins introducing themselves. Mully speaks up first, "I'm assuming you already know I'm Mully. It's nice to meet you both even tho you're a simp and traitor and wore Gaege's Merch instead of mine or at least the boys. Nick, you're cool you've got a Boys shirt on." You laugh and Gaege rolls his eyes. Josh breaks away from the argument that he was still having, "As you could have guessed by my beautiful blue eyes I'm Josh, the pretty one." Eddie lets out a loud chuckle, "If you say so Golem. I'm Eddie but you already met me and Gabby at the mall" Gabby looks up from her conversation with Nicole and waves. Grant is the next to speak putting on his narrator voice, "well you know I'm Narrator but you can call me Grant. You guys seem chill and it's really cool meeting you." He falls into the conversation with Gabby and your roommate, Nick ecstatic with his attention. With Nick flirting with Grant you decide to observe the fairy bread argument, which Gaege Mully and Eddie had joined when Grant left the conversation. "Listen guys there's no way fairy bread is good I'm sorry." You interject into their somehow heated argument over the weird food item. "SEE I TOLD YOU ITS NASTY EVEN SHE AGREES" Gaege yells celebrating as if he just won the lottery. Kristie groans clearly over the conversation, "guys can we pleaseeee just get over this and change the subject?" You nod and Gaege throws a packet of fruit snacks at you, "for my favorite little fruit snack." You shake your head and pop one into your mouth. Grant turns from his conversation to talk to the group, "So are we going to be seeing y/n and Nick more often orrrr?" He aims his question more at you and your roommate than the rest of the group. You start to respond but Gaege stuffs more fruit snacks into your mouth and answers first, "yep they're both stuck with us now." You push Gaege's hand away from your face and toss a fruit snack at him giggling to yourself as it bounces off of the side of his head. "Yeah well, he claims we're friends now but he kidnapped us." Gaege jumps up and pulls you from your seated position swiftly, "what did I tell you I was gonna do if you kept calling me a kidnapper?" You wiggle in his grip, feet dangling a good 6 inches away from the ground and shrug, "I dunno I wasn't listening." He lets out a laugh that matches your sarcasm and sets you down next to Mully, "here you take her." Mully engulfs you in a bear hug and you hug him back causing Gaege to peel his arms away from you and pull you back to your feet. "I take it back she's mine Mully you can't have her. Not gonna let you steal her." He wraps his arms around your waist and swings you around setting you back down in your original spot. You sit back down next to Gaege and lay your head on his shoulder teasing him, "Awe Gaegey are you scared I'm gonna run off to Australia with Mully and forget about you?" He hands you a bottled water and replies in a confident tone, "Nope Mully has zero game, and even if he did I wouldn't let him snatch you away from me like that. You're gonna be my best friend and you're just gonna have to deal with that." He grins pulling your hood over your head and down over your face. You push the hood back down and playfully smack his forehead, "don't be a baby you know you're my favorite." Nick throws a hot Cheeto at you, "wow how dare you replace me? I'm insulted." She fake pouts before letting out a laugh and going back to her conversation. For the rest of the morning you all talk and eat snacks getting to know each other better and by the afternoon you and Nick begin to feel like you're part of the boys but sadly you have to go home because the guys all need to record, edit or post for their personal channels and Nick has to go to work later. As you're walking to Gaege's car you look over at him, "can I drive" You ask, an excited grin creeping up. He shrugs and tosses you his keys, "don't kill us." You catch the keys and sprint to his car unlocking it, you hand Nick your bag in the back seat and climb into the driver's seat. "Dude you're adorable behind the wheel, no homo tho." Gaege chuckles as you start the car. You smile and pull out of the parking lot honestly surprised he even let you drive, "I'm not entirely sure how to get back to our place so could you maybe not let me get lost?" You glance at Gaege and he smiles, "don't worry I'll be your GPS." And with that, he directs you back to your house. When you arrive there you all get out and say your goodbyes, Gaege sweeps you into his usual suffocating hug making your heart skip a beat as always and you head inside. Nick gushes about how cute Grant is as she gets ready for work meanwhile you're sitting on the couch thinking about Gaege.
