Ever since the first music lesson, Ms. Chin thought Sarah had some natural talent Also, their school had one student missing to participate in inter-school music competition. Ms. Chin decided to take her chances and ask for an application for Sarah from the principal.
"Headmaster, could I have an application for Sarah Thine for the IMC?" asked Ms. Chin.
"What??!! She just arrived! Besides, she probably will let us down, she JUST CAME!!!" shouted the headmaster.
"But, she just performed in the class yesterday. She was really good!" insisted Ms. Chin.
"I don't believe you, Chin," hesitated the headmaster.
"Trust me, please!" begged Ms. Chin.
The headmaster finally agreed hesitantly. Ms. Chin grabbed the application ad skipped out the principal's office gleefully.
The Music teacher walked over to Sarah and asked,
"Hey, Sarah. May I ask if your old parents had musical talents of any kind?" asked Ms. Chin to Sarah.
"Yeah. My parents were very famous band members and used to live in a humongous mansion, but they were sued all their money for identity theft," sighed Sarah. "They were traumatized and started getting drunk every single night, which made them abusive,"
"Oh no, I'm so sorry I asked. I hope this isn't too much of a sensitive topic for you," Chin sympathized.
"That's okay. I always get asked this question anyways,"
"Anyways, how would you like to compete for our school? After a few days of training, I'm sure you'll be great!" asked the teacher.
At first, Sarah thought her idea was crazy, but she had nothing to do, so she eventually agreed.
"Great!" squealed Chin.
