On Monday, Sarah was given textbooks and all the essentials she needed to start schooling. The child services officer drove her to a school called "Mid Borough High". Sarah gasped in awe as she had never seen such an enormous building. She didn't see much of the outside world because she was held in her parents' captivity for as long as she can remember. She didn't know what to do in school, because she had never experienced it.

As she walked into the building, students stared at her and were very nice. Sarah felt a sense of belonging. Until then, she heard two students whispering at their lockers.

"If the headmaster didn't force us to be nice to this new girl, I would have thrown toilet paper at her by now," they whispered.

Sarah heard their conversation and felt down at the instant but decided she wouldn't let two students ruin her school years. She supposed she had to enjoy it while it lasted.

"Hello, Sarah. Welcome to your Music class. I'm Miss Chin, your teacher," Ms. Chin said gracefully and gently.

Ms. Chin was wearing a nice floral patterned long skirt and purple shirt. Sarah really liked the look of her new teacher.

"Good morning, Ms. Chin," trying the best to impress Ms. Chin.

The rest of the teachers were terrible, but not worst than Sarah's previous parents, so she got used to it a lot faster than normal.

As Sarah walked back to the adoption center, she was so eager to tell her parents about her first day of school, when she realized she was all alone until someone comes to adopt her.
