Many years ago, a red gas created by an evil scientist known as Dr. Hawkeye swept over the world, creating zombies, werewolves, and, thus, the apocalypse. The humans who remained gained different powers as an affect of the gas, and they formed an elite group to find the cure with clues left by a man who once worked for Hawkeye.
Now, with Hawkeye dead and the cure released, the humans who lost or kept their abilities created a new generation of humans who gained abilities when they reach the age of 16. These humans were known as the Elites. However, not everyone had the opportunity to gain powers, and those who didn't feared those who did. And thus, the Potentiam In Societatem (PIS), also known as the Society Against Power, was formed.
