"You at a safe house?" He asks

"Yeah" I answer grabbing my keys from my desk

"Alright, I'll call them in a second" he says

"Thank you. Ti amo" i tell him
(I love you)  

"You're welcome. Ti amo di più" he says before hanging up
(I love you more) 

I stand up and run a hand through my hand before leaving my office and walking to the kitchen.

"You guys ready?" I ask them to which they all reply 'yeah'

I walk in the elevator and they follow.

"Fair warning, there should be some people awake" I inform them

"Why do we need to know that exactly?" Sage asks

"Some of them love new people, others don't" I say not adding much detail

The elevator doors chime and open to reveal two girls around the age of 14 and 6.

I walk out of the small box and into the open where they notice me

"Bella!" They both yell and run towards me

They engulf me in hugs as I try to do the same.

"Let's see, Fallon and Lily. Right?" I ask the 14 year old and then the 6 year old

"You remembered" Lily says squeezing the life out of my legs

"Of course I did. How could I forget you of all people" I say crouching down to her level

"Li can you go help Toni with making food, I need to talk to Bella about something" fallon asks her

"Yay!" She yells before running off the the kitchen

"What's wrong Fal?" I ask her

I've always been close with Fallon. We grew up only a few houses apart when we were younger and even lived in the same house once. She's like my little sister.

She looks at everyone behind me before meeting my gaze again.

"I'll meet you guys in the car" I tell them when I turn around

"Yes Sage, I'm sure. I'll only be a few minutes" I add before he can say anything

They all walk outside and I turn back to Fallon.

"What is it?" I ask her

"My best friend called me yesterday morning and I know we're not supposed to answer just in case but she hasn't tried to call me in months so I thought something was wrong and I answered. I could barely hear her which I know doesn't help but I couldn't" she starts to ramble

"Fallon, breathe. Tell me what happened" I say stopping her

"She told me she needed help and thought I could because someone got me away from Keith" she says

"Help from what?" I ask

"Her foster parents. She said they keep getting home later and later and they keep trying to go into her room. She said her foster father said he would kill her through the door" she says, tears gathering in her eyes

"Take a breath sweetheart. Tell me her name and where she is" I say and she nods

"Rosalina Vieau" she says before telling me an address

"She'll be safe Fal, I promise" I say and place a kiss on her forehead before walking to my car

They're all already in it so I just get in a start the car.
