Numbness was everything
and the only thing,
She felt from within
Sorrow, outrage, guilt
Left her alone now in complete darkness.
And so she now shakes
Feeling nothing more than despair
For herself-
She grips her arm and stares- as blood flows down from the leaking nerves as a final goodbye.
Life was burning
So was her soul.
