So, what is scripting?
It's the act of writing down specifically what you want in your DR.
Like, for example, if you shift to a reality where you take a plane to Kenya [if you are from Kenya just imagine you go somewhere else]
What airline do you take?
What class do you fly in?
You can script all of this. Like, if you are shifting to Hogwarts, you can script your house, who you are friends with, your love interest e.t.c. You can literally script anything.
Scripting is not necessary, you don't HAVE to script, it's recommended tho.
If you do script, you don't have to write it down, you can type in a google Docs or on the notes app in your phone, you can even just store it in your mind.
The only shifting method that does require a physical copy of your script is the Pillow method, other than that, I don't know any other methods that do require a physical script.
