You realize how you truly miss someone when something happens, good or bad and the only person you wanna tell is the one who isn't there.
Livi's POV
"One more!" hingi ko pa ng isang basong tequila pag kaubos ko ng isa pa.
At umiling-iling na sina linan naman nito ang baso ko.
"Bro what the fuck is your problem! Are you a fucking VIP putik kapag dadating ka dapat lagi ipapasara ko itong buong bar ko para lang sayo, chicks ka ba men!?" angil sakin ng best friend ko si Hecate.
"Fuck off, akala mo naman dimo pinababayaran sakin lahat ng kikitain nito sa buong araw, mas mapapadali panga ang kita mo kapag ako ang nandito" sagot ko.
"I don't get you, why you hate girls so much, ayaw mo nun palay na ang lumalapit tutukain mo na lang" pang aasar panito.
"Give me a break, you wanna live with a crazy Vera and mom in one roof? plus Ylena who's too sweet and caring? Mawawalan ka ng katahimikan sa buhay ultimong privacy parang wala kang karapatan mag karoon." Sarcastic kong sabi dito na patawa naman ito.
"And there's Charm" dagdag panito.
"Yes, and there's Charmaigne, who is crazy, too sweet, too caring and too possessive, she's the version 2.0 of those crazy women I live with at home so don't give me that crap" sabi ko ulit at ininom uli ang laman ng kopita ng alak.
Na sinalinan naman din nito agad sya ang nag silbing personal bartender namin, lumingon naman ito sa katabi ko "Ikaw, hihintayin mo pa bang umulan ng snow sa pinas bago mo maubos yan" tanong nito kay Receff na katabi ko of course, Receff is also my friend.
"Hindi malakas ang tolerance ko sa alak, I still need to drive this chick home" tukoy nito sakin at sumimsim lang uli ng onti sa hawak nitong baso.
"So, what happened? Aren't you supposed to be happy, you will now take over the De Macreo's Empire, bakit mukang na pag baksakan ka ng langit at lupa" tanong nito.
"Charmaigne happened" sagot naman ni Receff.
"She doesn't want to marry me anymore" sagot ko rito at mabilis uling nilagok ang alak.
Naiwang naka bukas ang bibig nito sa gulat kaya ako na mismo ang nag salin sakin ng alak.
"Are you sure we're talking about Charm here? As in Charmaigne Elenor Dela Flores!? Bro I know there's a tendency for you to break up with her, but Charmaigne leaving you, no, no, no" dima ka paniwalang sabi nito at inagaw na ang baso ni Receff at nakitagay naren.
"I know that's why I can't believe it myself" na papa-iling kong sagot.
"Well, why not? Everything has its limits. What if she gets tired or she already found the love and attention she always want from you?" sabi naman ni Receff.
Walang nag salita sa kanila pag katapos nito.
Is there such a thing as love? I grow up with a strict family. Yes my parents were together at produkto ren sila ng isang arrange marriage at nag work out naman ito.
Kaya pumayag ako ng i-engaged kami ni Charmaigne, I always thought that all I have to do is get good grades, graduate, handle the company and provide a better house and good food for her in the future.
