Declaration of War

"Thank you... for playing along." I tell him. "And don't take this whole wife-husband thing seriously."

"Did you think I would? I know you have a special place in your heart for someone else." He replies.

"You do?" I slightly feel my temperature go up.

"I'm not that stupid. Anyway, why did you come here. We both have to get going soon." He says.

I sigh. "Don't tell me the others are here. I don't want them to get hurt if they are seriously going with your plan."

"Well it's a bit too late for that." Eren replies. "And here. You will need this." He places a small matchbox in my hand. "You have no pockets so I figured you needed a new box."

"I told you to keep them out of this." I sensed steam rising from my head so I tried to quickly calm myself down.

There was a short silence between us before Eren decides to speak again.

"You look more... skinny than I remember. Are you eating enough or are they starving you to death?" He asks.

"No. No. I'm eating." I try convince him, but sadly that excuse wasn't good.

"What did you eat this morning then?"

"I ate.. er... Wait. Why are you asking?"

"Well the Captain assigned me to check up on you sometime and then report back to him." He explains.

"You mean-" I pause to think of the captains name. "Levi?" I felt disappointed in myself that I had almost forgotten the name of someone who has taken care of me for most of my life. But at least I did remember his name.

"He will be pissed at you, you know? He will force you to eat when we get back." Eren says.

"Don't tell him please. I don't want him to be worried."

"I see you also did what I asked you and Cozbi to do." He points at my blindfold.

"The reason I came here was about that actually. What's the next step to this plan of yours?" I ask.

"You don't need to know all the details but all I need you to do is get to a high rooftop after that blonde-guy's speech."

"Or?"

"What do you mean 'or'?" His voice sounded more surprised and serious. "There is no 'or' in this case. You are going to do as I say unless you don't want to live."

I secretly grit my teeth. This guy was frustrating me out very much. Telling me what to do, threatening me and even giving examples.

I lift up my blindfold above my eyes and look Eren straight in the eyes. "That mouth of yours is going to get your ass kicked."

I lower my blindfold and look across the garden to see some soldiers running towards me. I clench the matchbox that was still in my hand and stand up.

"Ma'am! We were sent to escort you to the Internment Zone!" They shout in sync.

"Okay then. Let's go or we will be late." I walk off with them out of the garden where I suddenly stop and turn around.

The same person who claimed I wasn't queen was stood there in utter shock. Their jaw was hanging down and they looked awfully sweaty.

"Hey." I call the guards. "Arrest this man here. Charge him with harassment and lock him up."

The man didn't even move until the guards took both his arms and took him away. I really couldn't be bothered dealing with people like him and I had all the power I needed to shut them up.
