Mark thought for a moment before responding

"To be honest, he's nothing like you described him- the man is pretending to be a cripple for gods sake! He slacks on his schoolwork, hangs out with a girl who I'm pretty sure is the most powerful student in the school and gets beat up on the daily by bullies and hasn't ever activated his power, to be honest Keon the kid's harmless and I don't think he's worth the effort.

Keon snarled at Mark "WE NEED HIM FOR GODS SAKE, WITHOUT HIM WE CAN'T FINISH THE ULTIMANTE WEAPON" 

"Keep doing what you do best and I'll do what I do best ok? Now if you'll excuse me I have an agency to run"

"Also" Keon went on

"There has been a change of plans. You are off the Sunday assignment, I'm sending Valerie because your school's headmaster decided to ground you on schoolnights"

Mark couldn't help but feel..... relief? This was a prestigous mission he should be mad, but he wasnt. 

"Goodnight" Keon hung up. Mark decided to head back to the dorms after getting changed. 

Upon arriving at Wellston and heading into his dorm he heard muffled noises from his room

In fear he activated an invisibility ability he picked up from some kid in the halls. 

John and Seraphina were making out on his bed......

No enemies. Just an inconsiderate roommate.

 Honestly he thought they were cute.... which reminded him of Evie. 

These past few nights he'd thought less and less about the elimination of superheros and more and more about her watermelon red hair and glowing eyes. 

He'd spent hours texting her during his afternoons and she asked him to hang out more. 

He decided to be bold and texted her if he could come over

M:Hey mind if I swing by for a while? 

M:John has company over if ya catch my drift

E:Ofc!! I was just abt to get ready for bed but I'll make an exception for you and stay up a bit more ;)

Mark checked the time and realized it was 11:52pm

oh........

When he was at Evie's dorm he realized that she didn't have a roommate and when he asked she sadly responded "No one wanted to room with a low tier like me......" Mark thought that was sad. WHY DO I FEEL BAD FOR A LOW TIER! I'M SO DAMN CONFLICTED!!!

After talking for an hour on her couch, Mark was ready to make a confession 

THIS IS A BAD IDEA!!!!!!!!!! 

SHUT UP ME! THIS IS THE BEST IDEA I HAVE EVER HAD

"Hey Evie there's something I need to tell you, I-"

Evie smiled red as a tomato and nodded and muttered "Yes Mark"

"You knew what I was gona say?"

Evie just responded with a kiss

She blushed again "I'm sorry if that sucked that was my first one"

Mark laughed and pulled her in again. This was gonna be a good night

The next day

Arlo POV:

He got a text from Isen. Normally Isen never was awake this early so whatever he sent must have been VERY important. It was two pictures, one of which was Mark walking into the room of a low tier at midnight, which was suspicious enough considering what Arlo knew about Mark. But the second picture almost made Arlo gag. It was John the cripple kissing Seraphina. Arlo angrily thought to himself "WHAT ON EARTH GIVES THAT CRIPPLE BASTARD THE RIGHT TO BE WITH THE STRONGEST STUDENT IN THE SCHOOL" He needed to isolate John from her and teach him a lesson. Just then he got a text from Elaine "Arlo please call me now this is important"
