We finally head to the food court. About time! All that shopping made me hungry.
"Pizza for me please.", I say to Hayley, who went to place the order and I head over to find us a seat.
When my glorious pizza arrives, I see a bowl of salad beside it.
"Eww, I hate their salad."
"I got that for me."
"Hayles, you have a weird obsession with losing weight. Seriously your body is perfect. Would you just eat normal food."
She starts chewing on her peice of lettuce.
Ew.
I dig into my cheesy pizza.
Yum.
After we're done, we head to the washroom to clean up.
My face was covered in pizza grease.
Wow. I surely knew how to eat.
As I was waiting for Hayley to come out, I hear sounds of someone throwing up.
I walk over to the stall she was in.
"Hayley, are you alright."
I knock on her door when she doesn't reply.
"Hayley".
She finally opens the door, looking extra pale.
"Hayley! "
"Im fine. Stomach ache. Probably the dressing on the salad."
What.
"Is that why you threw up at our sleep over as well."
She avoids looking at me and walks out of the washroom.
"Hayley! Don't walk away from me! "
I grab her hand and pull her to a stop.
"Fine Summer. I throw up what I eat. What do you want from me?"
My jaw dropped and I stare at her in shock.
Hayley was already thin.
What is she thinking?
I wasn't sure how to react and I'm sure she sensed my disappointment.
Her eyes start to tear.
"Since when?", I ask her gently.
"Since the summer break."
Summer was 4 months ago.
Holy shit !
She's been starving herself for over 4 months now.
"Why didn't you say something?"
"Because of that ! The way you're looking at me right now ! You're clearly judging me! "
"Hayley, What are yo--".
She cuts me off.
"You just don't get it. Not everyone can have a giant ass pizza and still be goddamn skinny! ", she snaps and runs away from me, tears streaming down her face now.
I try to call after her but she doesn't turn around.
I look for her all over the mall but no sign of her anywhere, and I can't reach her phone either.
How mature of her to switch it off .
I walk to the parking lot and her car wasn't in the place we left it.
Great. She left me here alone !
To think that my own best friend couldn't speak to me about her feelings. That says a lot about me.
Have I been a terrible person?
I always complained about all my problems to her and never once asked her if she was doing okay.
I've got to fix this!

So, We're getting to Hayley now.
This is something I've had in mind for a while.
Many of us go through body issues, knowing or unknowingly. Even I've probably sacrificed my chocolate cravings once in a while. This one's for all you lovely ladies reading my book. It is not clichè.
YOU ARE PERFECT !
Don't let anybody tell you otherwise.
No matter what you look like, make sure that you have a fabulous personality and the world will fall at your feet. Promise. :)
If you ever go through anxiety or depression of any sort, remember there is always someone you can talk to. There will always be atleast one person who waits to see your face every day. Hold on to that one person and move one. One important person is more than a million others who will put you down.
MESSAGE, vote and comment if you like.
(I'm a better listener than a writer ;) )
Love you guys.
Stay flawless!
