Chapter 2: The Survey Corps

"Y-ymir J-jaeger?" Stuttered the bully looking at Eve, through her forest green eyes

"Yes I am! Do you want me to tell my dad?" Asked Eve threatening the bully

"O-of course not, Your Highness" said the bully as he bowed down. He looked at the girl then ran past Eve

Eve watched the bully disapper into the alleyway before walking towards the girl

"Are you ok, Diana?" She asked with concern in her voice

"Yeah, thank you, Your Majesty " she said as she stood up

"Diana! You should really try to defend yourself!" She said scolding Diana a little

"But I can't Ymir! I try to be brave but I just can't" she said while still clutching the bread

Ymir just looked at her, the noticed the bread in her hands

"Is that for you and your grandma?" Asked Ymir pointing at the bread

Diana looked at the bread then slowly nodded

"Yeah but- "

But a noise cut of Ymir's words, it was the bell signaling that the Survey Corps are finally back. Ymir didn't need telling twice, she took Diana's hand thsn dragged her to the gate

"Ymir! Slow down!" Diana said trying to pull away from Ymir

"Can't Diana! The heroes are finally back!" Ymir said excitedly

The two of them reached the gate and saw Survey Corps soldiers coming back, they were few injuries and deaths but overall they were fine

Ymir looked at them fascinated by their bravery, Diana noticed this then asked

"Do you want to join the Survey Corps?"

Ymir looked at her, smiled then nodded

"So, does that mean you want to follow your brother's footsteps? He's Squad Levi right?"

Ymir just looked at her, but someone grabbed her shoulder which made her jump

"There you are Ymir!" Said a voice that sounded like Kris

"AAAHHH!" as she jumped away from that spot "Kris don't scare me like that!"

"Well, I wouldn't have if you didn't leave this early!" Said Kris angrily "If you don't stop, I'll- "

But Kris was cut from his words by a very painful headache

"Your Majesty?!?" said Diana seeing Kris struggle "Are you ok?"

"Leave him!" Said a stern voice from the crowd, the girl looked really scary and her voice was also stern. She had black hair and cold grey eyes, the girl was none other than Humanity's strongest soldier's daughter, Lisabellan Ackerman

"Jaeger, didn't Captain give you a day off to rest?" said Lisabellan giving Kris a look

"I'm sorry Vice-Captain!" Said Kris trying to regain his balance

"Well, I can't do anything if you don't want to listen" she said while walking to her horse "Captain hosted a meeting later at 3:00 pm, tell Kirstein and Arlert, I'll take care of the other Jaeger, Springer and Galliard"
