Getting to the restaurant, we met up with Charli and Dixie who were waiting outside for us. As soon as I stepped out the car they made me feel so special by saying how beautiful I looked.
I walked in with them hand and hand to our table inside the restaurant and when we got in I wasn't expecting the turn out of everyone who showed up. I saw Avani, Madi, Chase, Ryland, Noah, Chris and my mother all sitting at the table smiling up at me when I walked in...
Wait! My mother?
"Mommy!" I gasped, rushing into her arms.
"My baby. Did you honestly think I'd miss your 18th birthday? It didn't sit right with me just being at home and you're not there. I had to come out here. I love you and I'm proud of you. 18 years since I had you and I wish your father would've seen how you turned out." She whispers into my ear.
I didn't realize it, but I was quietly crying into her neck. I missed her dearly even though I saw her not that long ago. But she was my rock and I depended on her more than ever.
When we pulled apart I sat down at the table in the empty seat next to my mom. I notice there was another empty seat next to me but I didn't think much of it.
"So that was surprise number 1!! We couldn't have a birthday dinner without your mom, it just wouldn't be right." Mila tells me.
"Well thank you, I really was missing her today. I'm just glad she made it out here." I say.
"Don't thank me too soon. We have two more special surprises... the second one is actually... right there." Mila says pointing behind me. A look of confusion fell over my face, but was soon replaced when I turned around and saw Vinnie walking towards the table.
"No fucking way... no fucking way... I'm dreaming right now." I whispered to myself.
"Happy birthday, Cleo."
I genuinely couldn't contain my excitement when I had saw Vinnie. I was quick to get up and give him the biggest hug ever, standing in the middle of the restaurant. "What are you doing here?" I questioned, once we pulled away from each other.
"I'm here for your birthday? I wasn't going to miss it, plus I owe you that date." He smiles, with a wink. "I'm not sure Megan is gonna like that." I sing. "Megan will be fine. And lets not talk about her, it's your birthday. You only get to turn 18 once, right?"
I looked at him for a minute, taking in every bit of him, still a bit in shock from seeing him. A smiled played on my face, as I nodded my head, answering him:
"Right."

im sorry for all the time jumps but I had to do it because I felt like I was dragging it on in the beginning and I wanted to already get into the story line.
but as y'all saw. Vinnie is now in L.A! Currently he's just visiting but I will somehow tie in the storyline of him joining sway gaming and so on!
