chapter nine

Ally’s pov

I watched trey walk out of the kitchen and sighed, I turned to face my friends and they all looked shocked.

“What?” I ask

“You…you stood up to trey! That was so cool!” Jamie shouts with a big smile on his face

“Yep” I say popping on the ‘p’

“Why didn’t you tell me you were treys mate?!” Laura yells excitedly and I laugh

“Because I was trying to forget about it myself” I say in a flat voice

“WHAT! You don’t want trey as your mate!” she yells

“No it’s not trey, I just don’t want a mate” I explain and she nods

“Ok, now I’m confused” Jordan says and jay laughs

“You’re always confused dumb ass” jays tells him

“No I’m not! i only get confused when you guys are talking about boring crap, so I tune you out, then when you ask me a question I don’t know what you’re talking about!” Jordan shouts and everybody laughs

“Calm, down babe there only joking” Laura says stepping closer to him, oh yeah did I forget to mention that Laura and Jordan are mates? Well they are so now you know

“Anyway why are you confused?” I ask him

“Well I know having a mate calms you down and everything but… I mean god! He was going to shift and rip all our heads off and all you did was shout at him! Now that’s confusing usually if you shout at a person they get even worse but when you did It he…he just…just walked away! Now that’s not normal so I need you to explain what the hell happened!” Jordan says looking frustrated and I gulp, shit! Why did I use my powers in front of them! I really didn’t think that Jordan was that smart, maybe he’s not a dumb ass after all, I sigh and look at carter, he nods telling me I can trust them enough to tell them my secret

“Ok… well your right Jordan what I did wasn’t exactly normal” I say and get confused looks from everyone except carter “i…um… well… err” I can’t find the right words to say

“It’s ok if you don’t want to tell us, you know” Jamie says quietly

“It’s not that I don’t want to tell you, because I do, it’s just I don’t really know how to explain it” I say feeling nervous

“Well I guess I could tell them a little bit, if you want me too” carter says and I throw him a grateful smile and nod “ok, well remember when alpha James told us that story about the white wolves?” he says and everyone nods “well, you know how there is only one every 600 years” he says and again everyone nods “right, ally is a white wolf” he says and everyone stares at me with wide eyes, I smile sheepishly and nod

“Is that true? Are you really a white wolf?” jay asks

“Yes” I say in a quiet voice and Laura runs up and hugs me

“That is amazing!” she says happily “my best friend is a white wolf” she says and I grin at the best friend bit

“Wait… do you have powers?” Jamie asks

“Yeah, I have three so far” I tell them

“What do you mean so far?” jay asks me

“Oh, well as I grew up I got different powers at different ages, so I could get another power at anytime” I say and Jordan grins

“What powers have you got so far then?” he asks

“Well I can block my scent from other wolves, so when I’m being hunted I just block my scent and disappear, I have visions and I can manipulate people’s emotions” I tell them

“Oh I get it now, earlier when you were in my room, you were having a vision weren’t you” jays says and I nod

“And a minute ago you made trey calm down using your powers didn’t you” Laura says

“Yes” I tell them

“That’s awesome!” Jamie yells, we all get into a discussion about what powers they would want if they could have some it was pretty funny. Jamie wanted to be able to fly, Jordan wanted speed, Laura wanted my visions because she thought they were cool, jay wanted more strength and carter wanted to be able to teleport. They were all acting really stupid and Jamie was jumping on the sofa pretending to fly then falling straight on his butt, I look over at carter and see he’s upset. I walk over to him, grab his hand and pull him out into the hallway

”what’s wrong carter?” I ask and he shrugs “Don’t just shrug your shoulders, tell me what’s wrong” I say

“Nothing’s wrong ally I just feel like crap, I haven’t been getting much sleep lately” he says, I feel bad for him so I decide to try and take his mind off of whatever’s giving him trouble sleeping

“OK… do you want to come to my house with me?... when I came here last night I kind of ran away from my parents, they’re going to be fuming  I need a big strong boy like you to protect me” I say and he laughs

“Yeah like I would get a chance to do anything, you’d just use your magic and they’d be out cold on the floor” he says and we both laugh

“Will you come with me then?” I say pouting slightly, he shakes his head and laugh

“Fine come on” he says

“Do you want to run there” I ask and he nods grinning, we walk out into the woods and I take my clothes of behind a tree then shift. I walk out from behind the tree to see carters grey wolf staring at me

Can you hear me ally? Wait… I can hear carter? Well this is weird I’m not supposed to hear him until I join the pack

Yeah, I can hear you carter i say

Wow this is so cool he replies

I’ll race you to my house I say with a wolfy grin

Ok then he says and we both speed off, now I just need to talk to my parents, apologize and talk to alpha James about tomorrow.
