Not many of us live to tell
Moments when our minds wanted
What the heart is not willing to giveaway
Moments when tears failed to flow out
Because they had realized that
It's not worth weeping for something that was perhaps meant to be
Something you might never, ever get to change
For when life is good we ought to be happy
And when life tends to be bad
We know that God made one just as the other
So either we broke or got broken
We ought to know that
As much as we'd wish to change the heartbreaks we had
We also wish to change the lovely memories we shared
The crystal emotions we'd forever cherish
And the lesson That now serves as a light to our feet
Everything has its own time
There's a time to be born and a time to die
A time to weep and a time to laugh
A time to love and a time to hate
A time for war and a time for peace
A time to tear and a time to mend
A time to keep and a time to let go
And in God's time,
Everything is to its beauty
There's much more to life
Than loving the idea of being loved
Thank you for reading.
To Christ Jesus be all the Glory
