"Sir, one more. You have a speech presentation at that non-governmental organization..." Uche tried remembering the name then she looked into her tab. But Dayo saved her the stress. "Thanks. Sir, you are the second guest speaker of the day."

"What?!" He almost yelled and he face-palmed himself. How was he going to divide himself in just one day? For the past two weeks, his weekend has been free and he loved it so much. But they decided to bombard everything on one particular weekend. And everything is important.

"Are you also going to the charity party?" Dayo asked, studying him with his eyes.

He knew his boss wasn't pleased with everything. It's like he has something planned for the weekend and all the events were about to disrupt that plan. So he felt sorry for him.

"Of course, I have to be there. The director of that organization helps in funding the orphanage too. And it's my first time being a guest speaker at a charity party. I should be there. What time is it Uche?" He answered Dayo.

"The program started at ten according to the invitation. But you will be giving your speech around noon." She replied as she looked through the tab in her hand.

Demilade was quiet for a while. He was thinking about how he could make an appearance at all the events. He doesn't want to seem like he was being rude or proud for regretting important invitations. Every single person hosting an event that day is important and has one advantage over the other.

"When is James launching?"

"Twelve pm sir."

"Great!!" He muttered sarcastically under his breath. He loosen his tie a bit and leaned back on his chair. "Both of you will be going to James's launching ceremony. You will both be representing me. I will send him an apology letter and a surprise gift later."

The two of them nodded their head.

"I will try to be at the others tomorrow."

"So about Sunday. You are..."

"Uche, we will discuss that later. I'm having a headache already." He complained rubbing his temple gently.

"Sorry, sir." They chorused.

He shakes his head. "Thanks. You can go back to your work." They shake their head in reply. And they both stood up. "I also don't want to be disturbed until it is time to leave for Abuja."

"Alright, sir," Dayo replied.

"Should I get you an aspirin?" Uche suggested.

"No. I will be fine. Thank you." He gave a small smile.

"You're welcome." They replied in unison before heading to the door.

He nodded and closed his eyes, exhaling a deep breath. His head was throbbing and he knew it was because he didn't have a good sleep. He needs to sleep but his hand is quite full. He hopes he gets back from Abuja on time.

He was still sitting on the armchair in the middle of the room, with his eyes closed when his intercom rang. He ignored it. Minutes later, Uche popped her head at the door into his office.

"Sorry, Mr. Demilade but your friend Mr. Rabiu is here to see you." She said.

He heaved a sigh. There was no way he can avoid Fareed. He watched her pull back and the door opened wider.

"What is with the formality Uche? Can't you call me by my name? Is it because your boyfriend is with you?" Fareed said rolling his eyes as he walked past Uche.

Uche just smiled in response before closing the door behind the two friends.

"Demmy, what sup?" Fareed asked loudly as he walked further into the room.
