Hailey's POV
"Tomorrow's the day!! I have my concert tomorrow which means I fly to California today!! I have no idea what I am going to wear!" I said/squealed to myself.
I sifted through my closet and found my Crazy Mofos shirt and I found a pair of shorts in my dresser drawer. Then, I found my airplane necklace and converse, and I packed everything in my neon orange Under Armor duffel bag.
I put my long brown hair into a messy bun. I put on my volleyball T-shirt and a pair of dark jean shorts. I through on a pair of pink Nike flip flops too. (Outfit at side).
After I was all ready, I checked the time. Only 10:00! I have 3 hours until I leave for the airport, what am I supposed to do for 3 hours!?
I started pacing my house. Going up stairs, through the long hallways, back down stairs, through the bright kitchen.
While I was in the kitchen I would look at the time and be disappointed then look in the fridge, and I would find nothing.
I checked Instagram, but there was nothing new. Same with Facebook and Twitter.
I still had two hours before I had to leave, so I called my friends Autumn and Macy.
"Hey Autumn wanna go to the park for a volleyball game?" I asked through the phone.
"Sure! Wait, what time is your flight? You probably have to leave soon right?"
"Not for 2 hours." I sighed. I heard her laugh.
"Okay I'll meet you there in about 10 minutes."
"Thank you!" I exclaimed as she saved me from my impatient boredom.
I then texted Macy, and told her to come too. Then, so the teams would be even, I texted Lori.
I grabbed my duffel bag and set in the backseat of my black Jeep Cherokee.
Once I got in my phone went off. It was both Macy and Lori saying they were on their way.
~~~ 10 minutes later ~~~
I arrived at the park and saw Autumn's mom's red Jeep, and I parked next to her.
I looked over to her car and saw her jamming out to sonething. Then she saw me staring and laughed.
We got out of our cars and as soon as we did Macy pulled up, and then Lori right behind her.
"Hey guys!" I waved at them after they got out of their cars. They both waved back and ran over.
"Alright let's decide teams. Since Autumn and I are the only ones who really know how to play, we will be on desperate teams." I explained.
"I want to be on Hailey's team!" Macy announced loudly.
"I'll be on Autumn's team!" Lori stated.
We got on our sides of the court and Autumn was about to serve. "Watch short!" I yelled to Macy sarcastically. Autumn and I are very competitive when it comes to sports.
"Bring it on Swarty!" She called to me using my nickname I've been given in 7th grade.
We played for a while and Macy was horrible! I love her to death, but she sucks at volleyball!
"Macy you can't just swing at the ball, it's not baseball. You have to pass it! Oh never mind!" I said laughing at her.
"So sorry I can't play as good as you!!" She exclaimed sarcastically.
I laughed, "Me too!"
"Shut up!" She laughed and shoved my arm.
Autumn and Lori ended up winning and they definitely rubbed it in our faces.
"Alright guys it's time for me to get going. I'll see y'all on Sunday!" I waved as we all got into our cars.
They replied with "bye" and "have fun", and we all left.
California here I come!
