PROLOGUE

A place where people goes whenever they feel much of terrible and shits in their life, just like me. Well, people usually go to an exclusive club just for fun and to clear their clouded mind. To forgot those worries. Dancing in much of happiness without thinking about problems. Only here to get the fun, that really needed to forget those things that can turn into a headaches. 

I felt nothing, but felicity at this moment. I'm here, to have fun, not fun like what the other wants, mine is different. It's kinda different, unlike others. I'm not here to have sex with anyone like no tomorrow. I'm here enjoying this little time that I've, part that been taken away from me. 

I drink one vodka. The hot liquor feels so good in my throat. Kumuha ulit ako ng isa pa mula sa lamisa namin bago naglakad papunta sa dance floor kung sa'n ang ilang kakilala ko'y nando'n din. 

I'm dancing crazily while my eyes were closed. Feeling the sound that turned me willful. 'yon lamang ang nasa isipan ko hanggang sa may tumawag sa'kin. 

"Farah Fynn Xarullo!? Is that you!?" Napamulat ako at bahagyang nilingon ang taong bumangit sa pangalan ko. Bumunagd sa harap ko ang boyfriend kong si Jake.

"Jake!" Sinalubong ko siya ng halik at yakap. It's been month since we both apart. Kung hindi pa ako tumakas ay 'di kami magkikita. Walang pakialam ang mga taong nababangga namin. They were all busy miding only intoxication and I was with mine.

"I miss you, babe." 'yon ang kumawala sa bibig niya matapos ako siniil ng halik.

We both chuckled. Muli niya akong sinil ng halik. Nang lumalim na ay lumayo ako.

"Minsan na nga lang tayong magkita, kaya sulitun na natin 'to, Fynn." humalakhak siya sa tenga ko na para bang may ipinapahiwatig na kakaiba. 

I used to have a relationship, but not serious and far as he want. Magkaiba ang intensyon naming dalawa sa relasyong 'to. 

"Why don't we just run off them? I told you, I could provide everything for us."

Mapait akong napangiti. He says that easily like It's not big deal to him. Kagaya ko'y umaasa lang din naman siya sa pera ng pamilya nila. No matter how much I chase my freedom It won't never be for me. Magiging pabigat din ako at baka masira ang pamilaya nila nang dahil sa'kin. 

If I run away I have nothing with me. Naalala ko 'yong araw na sinubukan kong tumakas naghanap ako ng matitirhan at tutulong sa'kin. They all refuse to help. Talot silang madamay sa gulong pinagmulan ko. As much I want to escape I couldn't, they have all their eyes on surrounding. Gusto ko mang tumakas at sumama kay Jake ay hindi ko kaya, baka iwan niya din ako kapang nakuha na niya ang gusto niya. Can't trust anyone these days. Lalo na't alam kong ano ang totoong pakay niya sa'kin. 

No matter how much I wanted to have decent relationship couldn't find one. Kung ganon lang din sana ka dali ang tanggapin ang arranged marriage na 'yon... Di sana tinanggap ko na.

"Pinayagan ka?" nanunukso tanong ni Elie 'yong kaibigan kong sumasayaw din sa gilid ko. She's with her boytoy again.

I bitted my lower lips. Nagtawan sila na nando'n, lahat naman sila'y alam ang nangyayari sa'kin. Kahit kailan kay hindi 'yon nilihim. By that, people take my parent's decision normally.

"Tumakas lang 'yan for sure!" anang isang kakakilala ko. 

Umirap ako at hindi nalang 'yon pinansin. I'm here to have fun, not to stress my self. Susulitin ko ang gabing 'to, bahala na bukas. 

I want my freedom, so here am I. If only I'm the one who's holding my whole life I won't let every second pass without any enjoyable moment with them. Susulitin ko ang bawat sigundong lumilipas habang nandito ako. Malaman man 'to ni daddy, wala akong paki!

"Dad won't know. I'll just enjoy this night!"

"That's my girl, wohoo!"

His hand goes to my waist while our body touches each other's body. Both dancing with full dirty steps.

"I know that you will not leave without doing anything." he whisper it in a playful tone and laugh a bit.

I smile wide. He smiles too when he sees my smile. This is what I really want.

"Let's go and have some car racing!!" I shouted with much of excitement and laugh after yelling. 

This is my life. I'm the one who's holding it. So I can do whatever I want even if it's prohibited. They say life is short, Hindi mo alam kong kailan ka mawawala sa mundong 'to, So it's better to enjoy and try those things that never did, love those forbidden.
