Dear Hunter, Love Maddie

Did I Make The Team?!

Maddie made the team. Maddie jumped on me and hugged me. I was so proud of her. After everything she went through she made the cheer team. She look at her position and saw she was top of the pyramid.

M- I made the team and I'm on top of the pyramid

H- congrats Mads

B- yay I knew you could do it

K- congrats Maddie

M- thank you

H- this calls for a celebration

M- what?

H- we're going to get ice cream

M- you don't have to

H- but I want to. Anything for my girlfriend

M- thank you Hunter

H- no problem buttercup

We gathered up with the boys. Lily came up with them as well. I saw an uncomfortable look show up on Maddie's face.

H- Maddie this is Lily, Lily this is my girlfriend Maddie

(Li- lily)

Li- hi Im lily

M- hi I'm Maddie

H- lily we were just about to go out for ice cream. Do you wanna come?

L- sure

We all walk to a nearby ice cream and sherbet store.

H- what do you want?

M- I'm gonna get mint chocolate chip ice cream

H- ok I'll pay

M- Hunter

H- Maddie I'm paying

M- no

H- yes. I think Nat needs to talk to you

Maddie goes over to Nat. I ordered our ice cream and payed for it. By the time she got back I already payed.

M- I hate you, did you already pay for it?

H- you love me and yes

M- Hunter you didn't have to do that

H- but I did because I love you and it's my treat

M- I love you too

We all get our ice cream, get a table and eat it. I sat next to Maddie and put my arm around her shoulder. Maddie started eating her ice cream.

M- are you not eating?

H- oh yea sorry

M- why are you staring at me? Is there something on my face?
