Chapter 36: Dots

"That's a stupid idea, Jeongguk. He'll never meet you in Hades. He'll want you in his club or a place he'd choose and you know it'll be dangerous." Yoongi argues.

"I agree with him." Taehyung says. Jeongguk looks at him, his eyes did show worry and Jeongguk hopes he's not wrong in reading them because it makes his heartbeat stutter to see Taehyung worried for him.

"I'll handle it if anything goes wrong." Jeongguk says.

"I'll go with you then." Taehyung says.

"No." Jeongguk immediately says.

"Don't 'no' me! It's either you take me with you or you won't go either." Taehyung argues.

"Don't be like this, Tae. You can't interfere in work." Jeongguk replies.

"Oh I will! You're literally walking towards danger! Take me with you or forget about this ass for days! Weeks!" Taehyung gets up.

It makes the rest of them chuckle to see the look of horror on Jeongguk's face.

"That's not fair!" Jeongguk exclaims.

"You almost shot you last time!" Jeongguk says.

"Fucking exactly why you shouldn't go either! He wants you to come! Do you not think he'll have all the possible strategies to have a gun or knife pointed at you ready to be shot with one fucking gesture of his hand while you sip some cheap drink being all smug infront of him!!" Taehyung was breathing heavily when he stops.

Even Seokjin had popped out of the open kitchen side, included among the six pair of wide eyes looking at Taehyung who was glaring at Jeongguk.

"Stop looking at me like that!" Taehyung gritts his teeth and grabs the cushion from the couch, hits Jeongguk with it.

"I never thought I'd see anyone treating Jeongguk like that." Hoseok laughs.

"But I agree with him." Hoseok then says.

Jeongguk keeps looking at Taehyung with amusement and Namjoon shakes his head at the two.

"Jeongguk." Namjoon says. "Taehyung is right. Don't be too confident. He's been way too careful this time and that's dangerous."

Jeongguk gritts his teeth. He gets up and looks at Hoseok. "Go to oasis yourself if you have to. I need to know what happened to that bloody traitor."

"Where are you going?" Taehyung asks. Jeongguk smiles at him, tucks a strand of his hair behind his ear.

"Don't worry, not going to meet Hyunjae. I'll be back by dinner." Jeongguk says and Taehyung nods, sighs.

"Okay." Taehyung mumbles. Jeongguk pecks his lips and Taehyung smiles a little.

"You need to be more careful now Jeongguk. Don't go out without any guards." Yoongi says. Jeongguk only hums.

"I'll be alright." Jeongguk says and he's walking outside. Taehyung keeps looking even when the mafia boss has disappeared from his line of sight.

"Do you know where he's going?" Taehyung asks all of them and none of them knows.

"Hobi, Jeongguk mumbled a thank you to Jin hyung when he gave him the drink." Jimin says and Hoseok's eyes widen.

"No fucking way!" He exclaims.

Jeongguk was driving back from meeting Kyungsoo. It's good that he got to meet him before he was leaving and had talked to him because Kyungsoo disappears out of nowhere and Jeongguk really wanted to meet him.
